We have a competition running this week to name one of the new female baby dolphins at Discovery Cove, Florida.

And the Mumsnetter who suggests the best name (in the judges' opinion) will win a week's family holiday in Orlando, including flights, taxes, car hire, accommodation and a one-day pass to Discovery Cove.

... after the central character in Amitav Ghosh's book The Hungary Tide. The story is about a woman, travelling to Bengal, to write a thesis on the Dolphins in the Sundarbans. I think it is suitable that a Dolphin be named after her as she had made Dolphin's her life.
