We have a competition running this week to name one of the new female baby dolphins at Discovery Cove, Florida.

And the Mumsnetter who suggests the best name (in the judges' opinion) will win a week's family holiday in Orlando, including flights, taxes, car hire, accommodation and a one-day pass to Discovery Cove.

I do do other things (belong to WDCS, have campaigned against drilling in seas around Scotland to protect habitat for bottlenose dolphins, etc) - but this seems like as good a place as any to aim for a bit of consciousness raising on the issue...
