Hi, i said i wouldn't buy them (to dh last week), i have now bought a few bits online yesterday but most bits (ball, spiral, beds) i can't seem to find in stock anywhere.

Anyone else struggling to get hold of them?

Are they really worth the hastle or are they just a fad?

asda or tesco in cumbernauld (central scotland) had a shelf full on thursday. I stood there wondering if I should buy the lot and flog them on ebay!

PiggyPenguin · 15/11/2009 15:03

Everywhere seems to be sold out on-line for these but I have just managed to got hold of a couple by ringing round all the local tesco/sainsburys stores.

I still need to find a couple of accessories but they have all four hamsters in stock. Might be worth doing the same in your areas if you are still struggling to find them.

LovingBeingAMummy · 15/11/2009 22:19

my 4 year old is asthmatic so no pets at home - this looks perfect for him. Will also buy one for his 7 year old brother! IF I can find them anywhere.

JesusChristOtterStar · 15/11/2009 22:21

i really hope you get them - our 3 and nearly 7 year old will love them ( they are not getting one but an older sibling is )

My little girl wants a hamster or a mouse.
We both have Asthma so I am concerned, but feel guilty at the same time.

I managed to come off my inhalers as mine is allergy related re animals and smoke of course.

Anyone out there with Asthma that has a hamster or mouse?

I had to take allergy tablets when I took my little girl to the farm. Google are paying money towards helping find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis from the adds on this farm video for little Jodie, my cousins little girl.

ButterflyLullaby · 16/11/2009 10:24

Guess that answers my problem re Asthma.
Did not realise this was a toy Hamster.
Thanks

AtheneNoctua · 16/11/2009 15:42

I bought one for DD (6) and one fro DS (4). I too wondered if it was a girl thing, but he steals her soft toys so I figured I'd give it a go. I got themon ebay for about £20 each.

But I cannot bring myself to spring £40 for a plastic tube thing (the fun house).

I'm thinking of setting up the train table (which no longer has a train on it) as the go go hamster table.

I need more accessories. But not a £40 piece of plastic.

inchhighprivateeye · 16/11/2009 18:37

Just saw this. Looks like Argos have said they've got a load more coming into stock

Defluffmyfanjo · 16/11/2009 18:42

I have a reservation number for 2x car/garage set at Argos Birmingham Union Street for pick up end of tomorrow if anyone wants it.

Reserved then realised I couldn't get there in time. Let me know if anyone wants it

Hi I have posted this on the other Go Go thread but I have just had an e mail from Character-online.co.uk to ssay they have stock and it will be online tomorrow Thursday 19th.

Samsmum09 · 21/11/2009 10:40

www.gogohamster.net are running a Competition to win a Chunk via their twitter page. Seeing as I cannot get a sniff whenever stock comes in, this might be my best chance ! Thought I'd share for all you other Mums trying to get their hands on one
