She would never let me sit down though when she was awake and cried to be carried all the time. She was the same in the womb she would kick me if I ever sat down and would only stop if I stood up.

I used to have her permanently attached to me , even did housework with her in a sling

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 06:55

Whereabouts rev, I am also in Dorset.

BouncingTinsel · 24/12/2008 06:57

I just got out of bed at 6.45 but I also got up at 1am and 5am to feed my own 'hell on little chubby legs and big smile'.
He was still asleep but has just woken up now so I'd better attend!

And hell will freexe over before I go to any supermarkets today!

jINGLESbells · 24/12/2008 06:57

morning
shagging sessions twinset,,,, you lucky lady.
Right...
What time should I brave Tescos again???

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 06:58

I would go asap unless you want to gamble on last minute bargains.

jINGLESbells · 24/12/2008 07:00

really.... feeling daring today... might gamble
far too cold to go out atm

JustKeepSingingCarols · 24/12/2008 07:00
TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:00

We were going to gamble and lost our nerve, some good bargains in tesco.

JustKeepSingingCarols · 24/12/2008 07:01

no to supermarket today!
will go round corner to mini-market type place and that is all!
And that's only to get out of the house with ds1 for an activity.

jINGLESbells · 24/12/2008 07:01

twinset... are you somewhere near wimborne?
Do I remember a thread and you were looking at schools in that area?????

Hassled · 24/12/2008 07:02

Glad other people are up and functioning . Everyone else here is asleep - I woke with one of those long mental lists of Things To Do and eventually came down with my Sherlock Holmes book at 6.15. And started on the Baileys last night so feeling a bit ropey.

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:02

she did quite literally drive me mad, she is much the same now, sleeps a lot but has me running around like a headless chicken when awake.

I would take non put downable child though, I can deal with most things if I have had sleep.

Those first two weeks when she did not sleep seemed like hell.

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:03

In Blandford Jingles.

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:04

I got up and had a baileys and then realised I was drinking at 6 in the morning which is possibly the sign of a problem.

jINGLESbells · 24/12/2008 07:05

ahh.. Don't know Blandford very well. is it nice?
my parents are in Poole

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:07

I teach near Poole.

I really like Blandford it does have an underbelly though, but I love my house and the fact that we have a glorious view out the back but shops on my doorstep. Very reasonable house prices as well.

I am a little worried though as quite a few shops seem to be closing in the town. We will be here for about another year to two years and then move to be in the catchment for the school I teach in as I would like dd to go there.

jINGLESbells · 24/12/2008 07:08

you don't teach at PGS do you?

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:10

No the school I teach in is in the Dorset LEA but only just so we take kids from Poole and Dorset.

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:11

I would choose the school I teach in over the grammar as well.

jINGLESbells · 24/12/2008 07:13

can't guess that one. I went to PGS.
anyway, I suppose I better go and ice a cake. see y'all later

TWINSETinapeartree · 24/12/2008 07:14

My head of department went to the grammar, I think quite a few of our teachers did.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 24/12/2008 07:17

Hope you are having fun Rev and good morning to all fellow Dorset people do we all just naturally get up hours before everyone else?

I give up trying to explain to people that we have no mobile phone signalwhen they get tetchy as I haven't got their message, when I have specifically said phone on my land line.
