Thought it would be handy to start a thread!!!

You should all get an ID number for parcels, so please quote it in your thanks (you can name change ) to make life easier for people checking their parcels have been received!

thankyou so so much hohoho. your so kind and thoughtful, youlnever know how much i appreciate being thought of this year esp, i know il enjoy them, wat ever they are im not opening them till christmas day with josh under the tree, and no doubt il shed more tears then but least these tears will be of joy, theres been enough saddnesss this year for us, i know next year gonna be really really tough one but for one day christmas morning can forget about everything and enjoy opening your pressies youve made me so happy thankyou for thinking of me truley thankyou. gonna start blubbering again now. xxxxxxxxxx

i had no idea i was nominated this year. i came back to find a card from parcelforce and as soon as i saw "to the mumsnetter"

I know who sent it and it made it all the more special as it means i can thank them properly.

the items are perfect and i was so touched that you included wrapping paper and cards too. seriously, i had a bit of a tear.

i want to say more but i just don't know where to start.

Thanks for the huuuuuge box of stuff!
They are all perfect, Ds spotted the little dog straight away & said 'woof woof'
I let him have it & he has put it at the bottom of his cot where all his fave toys go!
I have wrapped all the other bits up for xmas, I know he will love them all, the fire engine book is lovely!

Also thanks for the bits for me, I feel so spoilt! x

thank you so much to the person who sent my parcel it has made my day i was putting the christmas decs up today and saw a a dhl van pull up and thought i know i haven't bought anything and when i opened it it is full of wonderful gifts all wrapped up luvly i can't explain how much it means to me as i am on my own no one really thinks about me or ds at christmas our family get us a few things as does my ma especially but it was wonderful to recieve this present as it is so thoughtful i can't wait to open them on christmas day thanks you so much

I have been feeling all buzzy after sending it off, i really hope you like the gifts. The two small ones (with the writing on) can be opened before xmas if you want because they are chritmas related thingies that you would be using now (dont want to say more than that and give it away.)

Sorry for not putting labels on i forgot to buy them and only realised when i was wrapping them

I hope you and DS have a great christmas, i will be thinking of you at christmas, i hope you have a lovely day.

Coolchristmasfairy ref 304, thanks for all the prezzies. they are say waiting under the tree. Dd opened the little soft christmas book and loved it. It makes a scrutchy noise which she found particually amusing. The kids had tonnes of fun playing in the boxes too and with the shreaded paper. I kid you not their fun lasted about 2 1/2 hours. In the end I was a kill joy and get fed up of the mess and stopped it but they loved it! Lol I hope your joking about another parcle. I dont think my emotions can take any more.

Secretsanta303 ds looks lovely in the coat. My mum was very impressed with your taste and was even slightly tearful herself when I showed her all the things that had been sent. The kids have been fighting over the hat.... they both like it!!! And the little fluffy slippers look sooooo warm! Dd is going to love wearing those.

It was so kind of both of you to send me the gifts. I hope you have a wonderful christmas and 2009 is a great year for you.

Another parcel arrived from M&S Last night Filled with lovely gifts for the children. I was over the moon with the cracker but this is amazing.

Ds1 is going to love the Tractor, The girls will be really pleased with all the gifts now I just have to decide who gets what

Dh is in Awe of all this and is struggling to believe that an online community is so thoughtful and giving.

ref 901 Thank you so much whomever you are. Postman brought your gift this morning. DD1 saw the paper and said "oh it's so beautiful, it must be for me, I like pink, girls and fairies".

ref 1601 dt1 absolutely adores the rainmac & hat, I've had to prise it off her at night! DT2 looks very cute in his jacket but dd1 (4yrs but didy) has also taken a shine to it. I'll try to update my profile pics at the weekend when dh is here so you can see how well they suit.

I have just received the most amazing box of goodies from a wonderful mumsnetter!
I am so over-whelmed i do not know what to say.

My DC's will be absolutely over the moon opening their toys of xmas day - and a special thank you for the treats for me!

It takes a lot to make me smile these days with everything going on, but now i am sure i will have this grin until long past christmas!

Another two parcels arrived today! One has the new JK Rowling book in it (THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!! - I really wanted to get that for the dds but couldn't afford to!!), the other parcel I haven't actually opened yet but I can tell it has a book in it - thank you so much!!
