Tree up already ludicrously early - are we first?

Put the tree and Xmas decorations up today including wreath on door. Was a reason, am normally bah humbugush, are we first? Will the neighbours laugh at us?

Strangely, it was less stressful than normal (normally last minute panic arounf December 18th) so maybe is better.

Ours will be going up on the 13/14 Dec weekend...and coming down on 6th Jan.

I have to confess...I would chuckle and think it odd if our neighbours put up wreaths in November...but then, their door; their choice!

I know, I know, but I wanted to put the empty boxes back in the loft .......

December 18th is NOT last minute!

I refuse to do anything remotely christmassy before Dec 1st at the very earliest. the treen normally gets put up around the 20th.

Neighbours round the corner have had blue lights up outside for about 3 weeks now!

Our decs will go up in about 2 weeks time. Its DD's first xmas and im realy excited this year

DH would love ours up now but always make him wait until at least December. He likes to get the maximum use out of it.That said, a few years ago we didn't get round to taking it down till Easter - v disturbing
