Thanks so much to @Sideorderofchips for keeping things going. I can barely believe it's September and (for me at least!) that only means one thing - Christmas can start!!!!

Hope you've all had a great year and have missed you all. Last couple of years I've had various health things going on so have been a bit distant from the threads. Not quite there yet but feeling stronger than this time last year and I can't wait until I see more festive items in the shops! I've already bought my advent calendar - I've got the taskmaster one (which I'm quite excited about!).

I'll post various links etc in the next thread first post but essentailly you guys know the drill - share and be nice or leave.

For any other Olivia Rodriguez fans the record and other sets are also reduced. My niece will be thrilled and I will retain my title as the auntie who buys the best presents. Olivia Lego record. Though just checked the price history and it looks like it has been that price for a while. For those happy to hold their nerve it will probably go lower at some point.

My daughter has asked for Pokémon violet and Pokémon Scarlett for her switch for Christmas. Has anyone got any idea how to get these at a bargain price? I’ve seen some on Vinted but don’t want to risk it.

It’s finally working for me, after I found the Kiehl’s product page and picked an item that was included in the promo. It was plain sailing after that.

I think there is a glitch somewhere on the Boots site that is affecting access, but for those still having difficulty, if you look for the Kiehl’s night cream you should find the GWP promo.

Just to second this. DD loved these and she has just sold them all as she outgrew them. They have been her most prized possession for years and would highly recommend. They are durable too!

@Londonmummy66 all the lego flowers are cheaper on amazon at the mo - the mini mini orchid is only £16.89 from £24.99 and the large orchid £33 from £45. I’m tempted by the peace lily which is half price!

Not sure this is the bargainous 50% off it claims, as it looks to be the same price on Amazon, but I've just ordered this Revlon one step 3-in-1 fot my tween dd for £35 so she can have a go at curling her hair without the worry of burning herself on the tongs or the disappointment of heatless curls that don't last. Not quite what you've mentioned but when M&S have things on temporary offer in the Food department, if you slide the red price label out of its holder on the shelf edge, then right at the bottom in tiny print you can read the dates of the offer. This can be useful for Christmas food and drink which is sometimes reduced for a while to encourage people to stock up early.

You might be able to see the small print without needing to touch the holder.

I don't know if it applies to other retailers too.
