Thanks so much to @Sideorderofchips for keeping things going. I can barely believe it's September and (for me at least!) that only means one thing - Christmas can start!!!!

Hope you've all had a great year and have missed you all. Last couple of years I've had various health things going on so have been a bit distant from the threads. Not quite there yet but feeling stronger than this time last year and I can't wait until I see more festive items in the shops! I've already bought my advent calendar - I've got the taskmaster one (which I'm quite excited about!).

I recommend the night before Christmas pop up book £4.99 from Smyths.
It was so good when I received it and feel its a classic that can be bought out year after year as even though its a pop up book its still the traditional text.

Hi @Nellynoo182 would you recommend this? Our dog has just started being really itchy, apparently as his hormones reset post-neutering and his coat changes. We are brushing him daily as per the vet's instructions but would love to do something else to help him.

If anyone sees anything at all that is Winnie the Pooh themed please shout. DD22 is obsessed and I’d love to treat her as she has now come back home after uni.

I use this for my dog and I am very impressed with it. I have a 14 year old who had yeast issues and I believe it really helped her, the yeast issues have stopped anyway.

My daughter’s friend has a sticker book where you have to dress up animals. The original pictures are apparently animals (maybe just cats) in their pants. Googling ‘dress up animals in pants’ isn’t getting me very far. 🙄 Any ideas?

@weareallqueensthat sounds like the kind of sticker book that flying tiger have?

Stumbled across GHD with 25% off lots of their items for their 25th anniversary. My straighteners have broken after 10+ years of service, so very happy to see it! Amazon seem to be matching, certainly on what I want, but I bought direct thinking the after sales might be better.

This is such a brilliant tip- thank you! I’ve just bought up gifts for a number of friends kids. Particularly like the floral kids aprons, the back packs and lunchboxes seem crazy good value too I just think they’re hard to buy for someone else!

@theallypallywasp I have used the ear stuff and the shampoo for my dog and it is the only thing that has ever helped (including expensive vet prescribed shampoo and drops!). When we moved house I lost the dog box so haven’t used the ear stuff for a few months and she is suffering again. I have bought the full package for itchy dogs in the sale though as she suffers all over bless her, so I’m hoping the food stuff will help.

I think that’s the thing - she’s got ALL the sticker dolly dressing books so I knew it must be something different. Now the decision about whether to buy it as she’ll probably have completely lost interest in the ‘animals in their pants’ by Christmas.

Also to mention that it’s worth checking your bank account for cashback deals. Both Nike and adidas offer cashback with purchases from RBS which sometimes covers the slightly higher cost of buying direct. Adidas also give free delivery if you’re a member (which is free).
