Thanks so much to @Sideorderofchips for keeping things going. I can barely believe it's September and (for me at least!) that only means one thing - Christmas can start!!!!

Hope you've all had a great year and have missed you all. Last couple of years I've had various health things going on so have been a bit distant from the threads. Not quite there yet but feeling stronger than this time last year and I can't wait until I see more festive items in the shops! I've already bought my advent calendar - I've got the taskmaster one (which I'm quite excited about!).

I'll post various links etc in the next thread first post but essentailly you guys know the drill - share and be nice or leave.

DH needed to pop into Clinton’s for a retirement card and they had great sales on funky looking candle shades (£24.99 down to £5 something) and chunky conical flask diffusers Tom Dixon style. Worth a pop in if you are passing. They also had a great selection of Rolife book nooks.

@Scout2016 if you are talking about the guides that you follow around a town, I would say they are best done when you have a few of you together.

Your friend would definitely need someone with a maths brain to help solve some clues. Some of the clues are word based so may struggle if no one else there to assist.

My DS has had and liked: Cool Water by Davidoff, Tommy, L'eau D'Issey, CK One, CK Everyone. They're all quite fresh and not overwhelming. I think most or all come under the heading 'aquatic' fragrances.
