What have your DCs' favourite Christmas gifts been over the years?

What have been your DCs favourite gift ever? Thinking we might get inspiration from others ideas!
I’ll start…
My daughters was her first Tiny Treasures doll aged 5. She then collected the whole set.
DS was probably his PlayStation! Aged 10.

Wendy house age 3 and 2 for my girls
they are playing in It in all weathers

I would say the Barbie house, she has loved everything each year though!

Teen DD - Dyson air wrap. Expensive, but she was chuffed to bits with it and uses it regularly.

Flying fairies. They were 3&4 when they got the
last Christmas. They brought so much fun and joy to the day and still love getting them out now. I just remembers the giggles and squeals!

it didn’t go down well on opening but dd has had 5 years of use so far from her Yoto player. Listens every night

A trampoline

In the more recent late teenage years, a new iPhone and a new camera (not in the same year) were the biggest hits. Both completely unexpected gifts.

When younger, large LEGO sets.

Things that were completely unexpected surprises have always been the biggest hits.

Over the years… over four kids…

A ride on unicorn.

pet cage (Santa does not bring animals, just the kit)

We got the Gotta go flamingo a few years ago and the kids absolutely loved it, we all found it really funny. They still play with it now.

Glue dots are always popular too.

DD’s favourites have been the Melissa and Doug wooden ice cream set, a Playmobil farm, her scooter and her slide I think. She’s four.

All the above had value for much longer than you might think. She then did animal care at college!

The two best long term toys were k'nex and a big wooden marble run.
Both lasted years and used regularly.
Also never regretted buying quality art supplies.

Marble run here too - then Gravitrax.

Those wooden vegetables that you 'chop' - held together with velcro.
The kits where you mine for gems/fossils.

Best of all time a Furby each. My god the squeals on Xmas morning... (girls then aged 9 and 10)

Now they are grown, last year's best was a teal coloured smart sweater for dd25 (I got just the right tone of teal apparently... go me!)
and a pg tips monkey for dd24 - she collected them years ago and I saw a new one in their ad last year on facebook.
Tartan pj trousers have gone down well in the past, as did trainer socks with a little silicon ridge at the heel.
Oh, and a box of Ferrero Rocher of their very own!

Mini boxes of American Cereal was probably the strangest but favourite. He doesn't usually get things like that so he was made up.

Bingo Game helped him recognise his numbers and he spent hours just turning the wheel to see the numbers come out.

The Barbie camper van aged around 7. A hit on the day and years of regular use afterwards.
A digital radio aged 11. Didn't take much notice at the time but has used it daily since.
Micro scooters aged 7 and 9.
A big trampoline - years of fun from 5 -12.

Also not a favourite necessarily but he really loved a card shuffling machine!

A trampoline probably. They used it every day for years, and having it "appear" in the garden overnight was magical.

The hours spend constructing aforementioned trampoline at midnight in the snow were less than magical, I admit.
