What have been your DCs favourite gift ever? Thinking we might get inspiration from others ideas!
I’ll start…
My daughters was her first Tiny Treasures doll aged 5. She then collected the whole set.
DS was probably his PlayStation! Aged 10.

Oh yes, I forgot the play kitchen, dd had a lovely one from Ikea and it lasted for years with so much play. We'd set it up with the food and pots and pans etc and she loved it.

A mechanised crane that you could manoeuvre and use to pick things up. Honestly played for hours and hours with that. A wooden train set. A set of four laser guns, used regularly in the local woods. Labyrinth board game.

This is bringing back so many memories. We had different flying fairies but they were brilliant fun.
Always something silly in stocking for Christmas Day. A squishy poo or a fart machine. Mine are older now so best received and used is laptops and iPhones but for toys also a working mini crane. They would lie next to it with mouths open and try and drop bits of food into each other’s open mouths 😂
Marble run. Knex. Lego. Radio flyer trolley. And weirdly one of my twins wanted a red bucket when he was three and it was his favourite thing. Just a builders bucket to put things in and carry around.

Ds2 - his Playmobil knights castle when he was 3. He kissed it😍 Also many many Lego sets over the years.
Ds1 - Lord of the Rings Lego, although he took all the mini figures out to play with, mixed all the bags up and left me to spend the whole of Christmas Day building a bloody cave! Also, a toy saxophone when he was 3, and a game called Logo Billionaire which we played endlessly.

Oh, I forgot one... cheap plastic walkie talkies... we let them - ages 5 and 6 "go off in the woods together" (100yards or so, tops) so long as they kept in constant contact.
Our Sunday afternoon walks after that were "so much fun", apparently. 😆

A small one but I get my niece poster calendars with her recent faves (characters, artists, etc). Last year it was Taylor Swift, this year it'll probably be Olivia Rodrigo, she loves her new album so much. The calendar part is at the bottom, so once the year is over she just cuts it away and the poster stays.
