I just wanted to humble brag that I treated myself to a novelty advent calendar and just wondered what non- traditional advent calendars y’all have bought or are thinking of buying?

Mine is the Bonne Maman jam one. 24 delectable flavours and I’ve succumbed already lol. Today I opened and had strawberry and rhubarb on my toast amd it was divine like so fruity and tangy! I had a dollop of the caramel, cinnamon and apple on my porridge also.

Does anyone else want to share any of their best advent buys - past or present?☺️

I’ve got my DS12 a pot noodle one and a Fortnite sock one! (Both as his sister has a Sephora one).

Lol that’s great they have something for the boys too - as in general that market seems more female orientated!

We've pre-ordered the Taskmaster one, we're going to do the tasks as a family 🙂

DH and D's always have the cheese one.

Yeah I’ve had a cheese one in the past, but the texture was rubbery and all horrid. Next year I may treat myself to a more premium one!

I have my cult beauty one again. I bought an escape room calendar book and have a jigsaw one on its way. Will still have a chocolate one too though lol

I'm thinking about buying the rock gods rubber ducks for my son.

I’ve got my husband a cheese one and I’m considering the Lakrids by Bulow one for me .

I have my eye on the Sticker Dolly Dressing one, with 24 little sticker outfit books inside. It’s not for a child; it would be for me

OP - I've had the Bonne Maman jam one two years ago and it was amazing 🤩 my favourite advent calendar! It's very beautiful as well as delicious

My brother's birthday is 30th November so I have sent quite a few to him over the years.

Pork scratchings.
Tea.
Cheese.
Keyrings.
Male grooming.
Build a radio kit.

Soo… inspired by this thread I went slightly mad on Temu and I bought 3 novelty advent calendars 🤣🎅

I bought a Christmas sock one for myself, a cocktail one for my best friend and a dog decorations one for my parents 💝

I'm considering a tea one this year as I'm off coffee following an illness and we have plenty of good coffee.

I’d been trying to resist the Bonne Maman calendar and now I want it again! I ended up getting a tea/coffee/hot choc one that was recommended on another thread. Thankfully it hasn’t arrived yet - I don’t think it will last until 1 December either!

I had that one a few years ago and loved it! But please stop yourself! It’s against the law of Christmas to open early!

I’m getting DS a fishing one I think, and a Joe and Seph popcorn one. 2 cos I couldn’t choose!
