Anyone else starting to panic?

Deliveries are taking ages to arrive - just had an update for one for my DD2 that it may arrive between 24-27/12! I ordered it 2 weeks ago.

Not done any treat shopping properly yet, still have to ice the cake, not bought wrapping paper/tags nor written a single Christmas card.

I still have to buy for my Dad, brother and DH. I hate buying for men as it’s same old same old - jumper/whiskey/socks/chocolates. Can’t muster up the energy.

At least decorations/trees are up but I’m probably the least organised I’ve ever been.

Anyone else? Or is everyone here on the poncetastic thread and all done?!

I'm sorry you are going through a tough time.
I hope your dd issues settle down and your dad is ok.
Try to take time out for yourself, even if it's only to sit quiet for half an hour or so to recharge.

I'm not panicking but I do feel stressed. All my purchases are here and I've wrapped all the gifts for the kids and hidden them so the only things left to wrap are things it doesn't matter if they are around for. But it's A LOT. DH has 14 nephew and nieces alone. And I'm trying to write an open university assignment (on stress ironically) whilst working full time. Just need to find a window to stop and chill out. Procrastinating on Mumsnet instead of essay writing!

First year ever that I’m not looking forward to Christmas and can’t wait for it Aswell as this horrible year to be over.
My mum made me put a tree up last week but I can’t even look at it . Spending Christmas Day on my own without my children and have only been able to buy a few presents for children as was homeless for a few months and then got a house which I’ve had to get stuff for as had nothing. Normally I go all out for Christmas and spoil the children , go way over budget and have tree up, listen to Christmas music and feel really excited but this year I just want it to disappear

Joining the thread. Having a nightmare with Yodel (Scotland but not remote). Still got one child's main presents to order. Like a pp, feel like a failure of a mum. The house is a cluttered tip too. (Just breaking from cleaning to get the dyson to recharge. Should be dusting though! - Came on to search re Yodel.) Will read tips in bed later.

I got an email today that they have posted one of the cancelled ones now after the date it was suppose to ship but before my refund came back (which is now cancelled) so I might end up with 2 (at twice the cost).

I daren't cancel anything though because I'll be lucky if anything shows up at this rate.
