I have no idea what thread number we're on now Blush

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:

  • It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
  • No affiliate links
  • No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
  • Be nice or leave

If you have any voucher codes to share (or want to check for any) then have a look https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212144-sharing-voucher-codes

The current referral thread for sharing referral codes here . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.

To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)

So starhellostar would look like this.

hello

Obviously use the * not the word star

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

@Geminijes thanks so much! Just ordered one of the payments£22.80 ones for £12.80.

There is an offer on top cash back too for 18.9% back but does say in exclusions no promo codes. Worth a try though, I’ve gone through TCB just incase.

My tcb has tracked so really they are about £10 a bunch after discount and cashback

Aw fab! How long did it take to track? I didn’t think it would work with the discount but great to know it does & apparently they are quick to pay it out!

My Claire's experience- ordered 3 items to collect in store. Used my £5 Claires Club voucher and paid 20p on card. One item out of stock, the girl in the shop said it would go back onto my card even though I paid using the voucher so I emailed customer services. It took a couple of days to reply but they've added the full £5 voucher back onto my account without me even asking so got the other 2 items for nothing which I thought was pretty good of them, I didn't have to chase them up to get a refund

I can’t see how to go through TCB then find the offer, it has been a long day so most likely me 😐

ruralwanderer · 12/12/2024 21:58

Yodel are a bit of a disaster at the moment. I went into my local shop to collect a Vinted order today and the shopkeeper had me root about in a massive bag full of parcels to find my own as they've been overwhelmed and have no time to sort them.

If this is happening elsewhere it's not outside the realms of possibility that people are grabbing the wrong/extra parcels and contributing to the lost parcels issue....

The way I done it was put the items in basket first then opened tcb clicked on the link and then went through checkout. Mine hasn’t tracked yet tho 👎😬

Kids pjs £4.75

PersisFord · 12/12/2024 22:09

@TheGirlWhoLived do you mind telling me when you got the email saying your soccer03 had been dispatched? I ordered mine 18th November and just got the email....it's cutting it a bit fine!!

Fancyateapottea · 12/12/2024 22:30

Quidco are doing £20 cash back on toy orders over £60 at Hamleys, Disney store, Zavvi and a couple of others. Just make sure you opt in first on the home page.

SugarIsHardtoAvoid · 12/12/2024 23:05

Thank you for the flowers code Geminijes

PP looking for not extortionate Jellycat stuff, I hear you. John Lewis sells the amuseables for £13 which I managed to get one of this week after getting an out of stock message, so maybe worth a look there online. That’s the same price as on the Jellycat website but Jellycat themselves seem to only have aubergines left which I don’t want to give as Xmas presents Hmm
I found a £14 sweetcorn and £18 croissant if that helps. Also Jellycat Banana and blueberry £13.50 each which at this point is probably a good deal

Jellycat Vivacious Vegetable sweetcorn

The game outfoxed is currently £13.00 on.an amazon limited time deal. I was reccomend it here a couple of years ago. A great game for age 4/5 and over, but my 11 hear old is.still happy to play with younger siblings. It is cooperative so.you work together to beat the fox. I'd reccomend as a family game
