My last shift is on Saturday 21st until 11pm then I'm off until Jan 2nd.
Can't wait!
Although wish I was breaking up on the 20th with the kids.

7am on Christmas Day. Rest days this Christmas coincide with 25 - 28th but unfortunately this means a 12 hr night shift on New Year's Eve 😩. Emergency Services.
it's the first Christmas DH have both had off ever in the 20 years we've been together

Enjoy it!

I don’t break up, working Christmas Eve and Boxing Day this year.

20th. Go back on 6th Jan. I'm a teacher. We used to break up earlier and go ba k earlier, which I preferred tbh. I'd rather have more time before Christmas than after.

My last working day is Wednesday 18th and I'm back to work on Friday 3rd. I'm really looking forward to it; it's a lovely job but pretty draining at times and this is the longest break I've had this year (only taken a week off at a time before)

Also because the whole team are off between 20th Dec - 2nd Jan, I won't even have the temptation to check my phone during the time as there won't be any messages! Xmas Grin

We do run a support line though as an organisation, so I may offer a shift on there if they're short.
