Just got my email from Ocado - Christmas slots open next week!

Is it always as early as this? Admittedly, I am planning to make the Christmas cake and mincemeat over the weekend.

I've got a mid-week smart pass (I'm in the SE) and not had anything yet. Same with a friend (in London). Had the email last week saying slots would be released this week.

Not bothered with an Ocado slot the last 2 or 3 years. I booked my Waitrose Christmas slot this morning per my other thread. Been happy with them instead and it’s only £40 min order.

As a smart pass holder, I was emailed last week to say I’d be able to book this week, but so far, nada.

I also got a flyer from Waitrose through the post to say I could book from today onwards, which I have gone ahead and done. Got myself a lovely early morning slot on the 23rd. Ocado have missed out on my (highly indulgent!) custom this year.

I'm obviously a highly favoured customer! Luck of the draw, more likely. I got an email at 1503 on Monday saying I could book from the following day, and when I woke up on Tuesday the slots were available. I don't know the precise time they went live - midnight? It would have been helpful to have it in the email, but I couldn't see it anywhere, there or on the website. There was no problem at all, though, at that point, finding a convenient time.

Slightly annoyed now - had the email last week, have full smart pass and still nothing. Grr.

Yes, got the same email and booked my christmas week slot yesterday. Feel quietly smug now!

I’m a midweek pass and I booked my slot the other day

Plus they are 3 hours late with delivery today. Combined with no Xmas slot I am inclined to take my 15k annual bill elsewhere.

I've not had my email yet, but when I checked the app, I was able to book my slot yesterday.

Does anyone know when slots tend to come up for non-pass holders? Or if there are even usually any left for those without passes?

I'm not a pass holder and I got my email today saying I can book tomorrow.

Email arrived this afternoon saying I can book tomorrow. I was contemplating doing what I did last year and booking one just in case and then canceling it closer to the time. But I think I’ll stick with my Waitrose slot instead and not bother with a just in case with Ocado at all.

I thought you meant you spend £15K on your christmas food shop for a second there! 😂

My email says I can book tomorrow? Does that mean from midnight tonight? If not, what time do the slots open?

I’m not sure when they open but I booked my slot at 9am and there was a lot of slots to choose from between 20th-24th December

I am seriously considering staying up past my bedtime in case they release the slots just after midnight. Am I truly pathetic?

I only order with Ocado maybe once every 6 weeks, maybe I’m quite far down the list in priority!

I can book a slot for home, but not for the place we will actually be so that's a pain, we go away on the 21st and don't really want to take it all with me so I guess I'm going to have to use somewhere else (they deliver where we're going just no option of a slot there for some reason) I do have an M&S order booked so will have the main bits
