I too was massively underwhelmed by Lidl today - I assume the ‘good stuff’ went very early. I heard one woman say to another very loudly in disgust: ‘There’s f* all here!’ (I couldn’t agree more, but ‘inside’ voice perhaps 😹)

I did, however, score four pairs of HP socks for DH, (who gets through socks at an alarming rate), reduced to £1.99 per double pack.

I also saw some cute wooden pull along toys for toddlers, and lots of other wooden toys, starting at about £2.99. These were not in the 50% off aisle.

My heritage have half price dna tests, £35 each, with postage it's £40 but you can get free shipping if you order three. Might be good for difficult to buy relatives?

What is a graphics tablet? My 9 year old has asked me for a tablet for drawing but is it something for advanced graphics people really? Do you need to attach to a laptop or something?

You can get them with or without screens.. so if without a screen you would need something to plug it into like a laptop. The ones with screens are significantly more expensive. I got one from Wacom refurbished and it's excellent, just looked and they start as low as £45 Wacom refurbished
