Fake Pandora - can anyone tell?

Stupidly, STUPIDLY bought Pandora charms from a website that looked exactly like the Pandora site, which I found through Google.

Once I got the confirmation email I of course realised my error 🙄 £92 and a week later it’s all arrived. I bought 4 altogether.

The charms do look nice and it’s come with all the bags etc but I just can’t give this to my daughter if they’re fake.

Can anyone tell if these are genuine or not? They all have S925 on them.

Sorry the pics aren’t great I’ve realised. Would a shop be able to tell me if they were okay? I still need to go in there and buy a bracelet for them, so would be making a purchase.

can you send them back and get a refund?

BucksOxonMum · 19/12/2023 12:50

I’ve tried that, they have said that they will only accept them back if faulty. They all came direct from China.

I don't think you can tell...

but if you think they are fake return them or claim on your credit card if you can

BucksOxonMum · 19/12/2023 12:52

I did contact my bank right away - Monzo. Utterly useless sadly.

SeaViewLove · 19/12/2023 12:52

What makes you think they’re fake? The price?

That’s what I think also. What a bloody shame.

Thing is all you're paying for is the brand, if it's proper silver and they look nice, that's what matters

What makes you think they’re fake? The price?

The price yes, and the fact that once I placed the order they were coming direct from China.

My husband said it was too good to be true.

What a bloody idiot.

They won't be silver. OP may as well have bought them from Aliexpress for pennies

Yes that’s my other worry that they simply have the s925 stamped on but are complete cheap shit.

DaftFlerken · 19/12/2023 13:16

that's a shame OP. Pandora often do promotions where if you spend £90 you get a free bracelet

Oppositioblue · 19/12/2023 13:18

Such a shame OP but that’s not Pandora packaging currently.

brickastley · 19/12/2023 13:21

Definitely not genuine, look at the site for their genuine charms, nothing matches it

BucksOxonMum · 19/12/2023 13:22

Thanks everyone, lesson learned! I’m going to head to the store tomorrow. I’ve contacted my bank again, but don’t hold out much hope.

I've just looked at the charms on my Pandora, they have "S925 ALE" stamped on them, I just googled what ALE meant and it's what Pandora stamp on their charms.

HappyHamsters · 19/12/2023 13:27

The bank should offer a fraud dispute if its a fake site

They do all have ALE stamped, which is why I was a bit confused at first. A good fake would simply replicate that, no?

Take them out of the Pandora wrapping, put them into another bag and either keep them yourself or just pretend they were a stocking filler and get her something else .... if they won't refund you, you can only cut your losses.

Startyabastard · 19/12/2023 13:53

Can you report it to trading standards of the website is trying to be Pandora?

BucksOxonMum · 19/12/2023 14:08

Bit of an odd update. The company have just refunded the £92 into my bank … ?!

I can really tell but I do buy Pandora a lot as gifts as well as receive. The packaging itself is a massive giveaway

SeaViewLove · 19/12/2023 14:20

Brilliant update OP!

Have you got to return the charms? I think it looks pretty. If you go on to the Pandora site if you spend over a certain amount you get a free bracelet and if you sign up to their site they send you details when they have a sale on.
