This thread title made me think I should make up a 12 days of christmas song for all the main bargains we've got! Thanks@Yalz and @ApiratesaysYarrr for the inspo on the title.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

Can anyone please recommend a good jigsaw puzzle for an adult just getting into it? They don't have the best eyes so nothing too intricate. Thanks

kkr168 · 11/12/2023 22:20

@stillholly I would look at larger piece puzzles like this one https://amzn.eu/d/4qlwF7M

Lock picking kit which I think was a recommendation from one of these threads (or may have just been one I was watching) has a 50% off voucher taking it to £7.50

Amazing thanks!

watch out for the packaging if you’re ordering, I noticed at the last minute it was set to come in manufacturer’s box, so probs have an Amazon label slapped on it if you don’t change this to ‘hide contents’

ivelostmytrousers · 11/12/2023 22:25

@BoopK be careful with Ulster Weavers-I ordered from them and it took over a month for my order to arrive-definitely check out their online reviews and i wouldn't order anything you need to arrive by Christmas.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 11/12/2023 22:30

Wentworth Wooden Puzzles are lovely and they have some jigsaws with distinctively shaped pieces - like Christmas trees, sweets, stockings etc. - which might make assembling them easier. They also offer the option to select your number of pieces from a few different options. This Winter Wonderland puzzle might be too simple as it's only 40 pieces but it's really sweet and only £7.50 in the sale section.

There are charming little cracker puzzles too which would be fab for younger recipients. I'm not sure whether codes would combine with sale prices but you can get a 10% discount by signing up for the newsletter.

I’m probably being a bit greedy but I had a 20% off voucher for nightwear at M&S and I’m wondering if there are any other codes knocking about that I might be able to stack it with? I remember a previous poster saying she was able to stack it with another code but I’ve searched and can’t find anything.
I went into Poundland today to get some of those fake apple tiles someone mentioned a few threads back. Can’t remember the poster sorry but thanks for the recommendation! They had a few reasonably priced tech things in there such as magnetic phone holders for the car, chargers and headphones.

GoatsareGOAT · 11/12/2023 23:03

the boardgame pandemic has been mentioned a few times & is under £20 on Amazon just now (I haven't price compared elsewhere)

Sky customers can get a £2 voucher off Cadburys and the (plastic) tins of chocolates at Tesco are £3.89 with club card. You can use the voucher on those so canny saving.

Anyone have an idea where I could get a cheap magnetic poetry set from? Just an ordinary one- no themes and definitely nothing rude

I just bought this one from amazon for a secret santa gift.

Is there a way of getting anything off the cost at Etsy? I wanted some pencils at £4.50, but with postage and tax it's totalled £22!

Great spot! Frustratingly, I ordered this during Black Friday week for more, and they won't refund the difference so I'm having to return the original and reorder with the discount.

This Handmade leather wallet from Amazon looked good.
45% off taking it down to £21.99, various colours, RFID blocking and a lovely wooden gift box.

Boots £10 Tuesday is a bit disappointing, despite there being loads of things listed, but there’s a Too Faced makeup palette on there.

You guys are so good at finding products, I wonder if you can help.
I'm trying to find a Santas Trousers Bowl, like this one:
Santa's Bowl

EDIT Should say it was originally £7.99 at The Range, so I don't really want to spend much more then that. For example Amazon have a similiar one for £26.95

Edited

They have them for £1.50 in B & M

Itsbeginningtolookalotlike · 12/12/2023 07:42

Any suggestions for a gift up to about £10 for 8 year old niece please? It's to even out her and sisters piles. So far she has butter slime, books and chocolate.

recklessgran · 12/12/2023 08:14

@Itsbeginningtolookalotlike would something from the Make it Real range suit her - very popular with the 8-11 year old girls in our family - there are a few different sets under £10.
