I've received an email confirmation from Hotel Chocolat; I paid via PayPal.

Immediately after order but nothing since and I’ve emailed them twice as my order mainly contains our table crackers and chocolate vodka (essentials in my book!)

Help please ?! I’m looking for a new game for a 20 year old for Christmas. Ideally a card game or small game. Already has Snakess, Uno Flip, Unstable Unicorns, Exploding Kittens. Any new ones out this year we may have missed. Ideally no more that £10. Thanks in advance :)

I twitched and bought £75 of Hotel Chocolat 🙄😅

Is anyone using the Hotel Chocolat 50% code, or are you assuming it’s a glitch, so leaving well alone?

I did I use it on the basis that it’s on the coupon apps like Honey.

Call me cynical, but it’s getting towards last posting day and at this point they probably get more large orders by leaking a code than if they had a half price sale.

If it’s a glitch and they don’t honour it then it’s not a major present order for me so no big loss, but if they do order it then my elderly neighbour and my kids’ teachers get some nice extra goodies, and the present cupboard gets stocked up 😊

Why am I now looking at buying a velvetiser?
My kitchen is far to small for more gadgets & we rarely drink hot chocolate 🐑 🤣

At Fenwicks. Chapeldown and chocolates reduced. If you buy 4 it takes off 15% so they end up at about £29. They have a couple of other hampers reduced as well. The wine alone is about £26 a bottle and very nice. Fenwicks have terrible stock control but hampers seem to come from a different department and certainly the version of this last year they had came very quickly and in a lovely box

Apparently the M&S drink sparks offer is actually a prize... if you opened all 12 doors on their 12 days of Christmas thing, you got entered into a draw to win various things.
Some people had an email to say they'd won but I just had the offer in the sparks bit on the app.
Not a bargain then as such, but I wouldn't have looked so hopefully other people will find it without having an email too.

Just wanted to say thank you to all on this thread. Have managed to grab a few bargains but more importantly had inspiration for gifts due to others purchase. Did manage to share a few things I saw as well as pass on some vouchers.

Can anyone suggest a gift for our elderly neighbours 🙏🏻 They are both 80ish but very spritely, avid walkers. Embarrassingly they bring our bin onto our drive each week as we've already left for work. They always get the kids a small gift at Christmas.

In the past we got them chocolate, plants, mulled wine but I'd like to get them something nicer but with a modest budget of £20

Can anyone recommend a diary please.

Needs to be no bigger than A5 and have enough space on each day to write appointments etc with space for notes. Have a lot of things coming up in the new year and need to be able to make a notes of things that need remembering (LC issues/brain fog/difficulty concentrating etc). Thought I would treat myself but haven’t seen much in high street shops. Have realised this year that I can’t be relied upon to enter reminders accurately into phone calendar 😄

I always think experiences are nicer than gifts at that age. I’d invite them over for a drink and a mince pie!
