Every year I say I'm going to be done with my wrapping the week before Christmas, but every year I find myself wrapping things on Christmas Eve.

I'm determined to be done early this year. I promise myself!!

Has anyone started, or is even finished wrapping their gifts yet?

Me! I’ve finished wrapping my gifts early for once, I usually do them next month but I’m happy I’ve done them and can focus on doing other things to get ready for Christmas 🤶

Taytocrisps · 11/11/2023 17:59

I haven't started shopping yet Grin.

MintJulia · 11/11/2023 18:00

No, I only bought the first present today. 😀

MirandaWest · 11/11/2023 18:01

To star wrapping I would need to have bought some presents so not yet.

Nonplusultra · 11/11/2023 18:01

I’ve wrapped everything I’ve bought so far. It always takes far longer than I think it will.

trafficcarrots · 11/11/2023 18:02

I used to get my wrapping paper from paperchase as I need five different patterns for the kids... but now they've closed I'm at a loss of where to buy nice wrapping paper.

YuliaJollyberry · 11/11/2023 18:02

I’ve started but only because they needed posting overseas. For the rest I’ll wait until the tree is up.

TheChosenTwo · 11/11/2023 18:04

I’m sure I heard Tesco were now stocking paperchase @trafficcarrots

i haven’t started wrapping yet, I don’t have anything to wrap!

FallingAutumnLeaf · 11/11/2023 18:11

Well, everything that is bought is wrapped.
But since I've bought nothing, that doesn't amount to much wrapping!

DH has a birthday I need to shop and wrap for before Xmas stuff starts!

Muchtoomuchtodo · 11/11/2023 18:13

I bought my first secret Santa gift today and had it wrapped in the shop. Does that count?!

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 11/11/2023 18:14

Ummm... no. I haven't even started thinking about what to buy anyone yet.

IncompleteSenten · 11/11/2023 18:15

Not bought anything yet.

Unabletomitigate · 11/11/2023 18:17

I am an oportunistic bargain hunter, and I wrap as I go!

ButtonDownBev · 11/11/2023 18:20

I dont know if I'm doing something wrong but whenever I wrap super early the sellotape starts to unstick by christmas, or a gift tag falls off, or the wrapping paper rips if it gets moved at all. I use proper branded sellotape and decent enough quality wrapping paper (not paper thin etc, usually paperchase or marks and Spencers etc)

I like to do it all the second week in December - seems to be a happy medium and stays in good condition so I'm not having to do patch work on them. Lol

MariaVT65 · 11/11/2023 18:22

Yes i’ve nearly finished. Due to give birth this month so no xmas shopping or wrapping is happening after that!

anon2134 · 11/11/2023 18:23

I've wrapped everything

DGPP · 11/11/2023 18:23

@trafficcarrots i also used to love Paperchase. I’ve gone for some lovely papers in John Lewis this year

Hibernatalie · 11/11/2023 18:24

I've finished shopping and have all the wrapping paper and labels - I just need to do it. I want to be completely done by the end of the month - if I have the energy I'll start tomorrow!

NoWordForFluffy · 11/11/2023 18:24

I started wrapping last night. Lots to do yet though! 🎁🎁🎁

aintnospringchicken · 11/11/2023 18:26

Wrapping??? I haven't even bought any Christmas presents.I usually go into town with a list and blitz the shops and don't come home until I've got everything. Will do that by the end of the month

BurntOrangeAutumn · 11/11/2023 18:29

No but I'd love to, problem is I've no where to put them all where they won't get crumpled. I'm going to have to wait until my tree goes up I think!

BurntOrangeAutumn · 11/11/2023 18:30

What colour themes are you all going with this year if any?
I always intend to do a theme matching my tree but end up needing more paper so it usually ends up mismatched 😭😂

Pinkkisugarmouse · 11/11/2023 18:32

I usually do wrap as I buy though I have grown up DD, DH and cats to buy for.
This year I have a cast on so the wrapping will have to wait for another 3 weeks.

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 11/11/2023 18:40

No and I'm seriously behind. I always aim to be finished by the end of November. I haven't even started wrapping yet.

Broodywuz · 11/11/2023 18:49

No yet but plan to have all extended family and friends gifts bought and wrapped before the tree goes up in 1st December then I can just concentrate on my dc and dh
