I keep seeing that blue tin of Danish biscuits on TikTok, and how everyone’s Nan keeps buttons and nik-naks in it, and it made me wonder if you can still buy them in the tin ?
Ive looked everywhere I’ve been, but not seen them. Help me out ?

There were some me in the Diwali display in my local Tesco this week.

Poundland have them and it's an adorable mini tin! (Travel sewing kit!)

They've got them in Costco at the moment.

Massive tins of them. I buy one for my brother from here every year for Christmas!

HugHog · 10/11/2023 14:27

We've bought them in the Chinese supermarket before. Delicious cookies!

Hollyhobbi · 10/11/2023 14:28

The ones from Aldi as just as nice!

BlackLambAndGreyFalcon · 10/11/2023 14:30

Sainsburys used to sell them, but now don't. I buy mine on amazon!

Mirrormeback · 10/11/2023 14:36

I'm pretty sure they sell them in Flying Tiger / Tiger if you have one near you

LoreleiG · 10/11/2023 14:36

Going against the grain but I never liked these biscuits as a child, which was the last time I saw them.

Especially the coconut ones.

APurpleSquirrel · 10/11/2023 14:45

I’ve seen them in Iceland and my sil got one from Costco last year. I usually pick a tin up of aldis own.

The Costco ones sometimes have a lovely Christmas scene on the tin.

takemeoutonight · 10/11/2023 14:46

I buy them every year from Iceland!

harriethoyle · 10/11/2023 14:50

The Aldi dupe is excellent. May have bought a tin yesterday...!

SophyRivenhall · 10/11/2023 14:52

Not much help OP but someone got me a tin as a souvenir from a visit to Copenhagen. I was actually shocked to open it and find biscuits inside as opposed to bits of sewing kit!

Moredarkchocolateplease · 10/11/2023 14:53

I buy Danish biscuits in a tin from aldi every year.

ginasevern · 10/11/2023 14:55

My Waitrose is fairly small but they do sell them. They are right on the very bottom shelf, below all the other biscuits so you could miss them if you didn't look.

starlightbright18 · 10/11/2023 15:00

I found some in my local Tesco a couple of weeks ago. Good luck!

CornedBeef451 · 10/11/2023 15:38

Aldi have a red tin, I think they're called Danish butter cookies. We've eaten half already, they are very small.

MrsCarson · 10/11/2023 15:54

Iceland is selling them filled with biscuits. We used to get one every Christmas, then put the tin to use after, the kids had them with toys with small parts in. I had one with sewing stage in. My gran had a Fox's tin filled with buttons.

MechyMagic · 10/11/2023 16:15

I found them in CoOp the other day!!!!

43ontherocksporfavor · 10/11/2023 16:16

Morrisons. So yummy and lots of vanilla flavour.

Definitely any Chinese supermarket will have them, they’re a tradition with many east/southeast Asian families. We always see them and get them for my Vietnamese in-laws.

Ibizabar · 10/11/2023 18:09

There's loads of them in the Co Op.

friendsfiend · 10/11/2023 18:16

These are my favourite biscuits, thanks for the reminder. Tiger sell them too.
