Yes I did. Payment hasn’t been taken from my card and I ordered a week ago. Got a confirmation email, haven’t got a cancellation one, and my order is still showing.

Now I am stressed because I think today was the last day to use the alternative ‘£20 off £80’ which was the other way I would by all the stuff….

Just a quick message regarding the oodie I placed an order for on Amazon. (Genuine panda oodie)
I had it for £17.27 as there was 10% discount. I messaged trueface via Amazon to say I was a bit disappointed that it had a quite chemical smell to it, they emailed me back and said they will refund me 20% so I ended up having it for £13.82 😊

Thank you to the poster who, many threads ago, posted about the RNLI gift shop. I didn't end up going for the £10 crackers, slate and cheese knife, as the BB date was the end of Jan '24.

However, I got a lovely wooden pull-along shark for my 1yo niece, and a bottle of Conkers RNLI Navy strength gin (64%) for my DBiL. He loves Plymouth Navy strength gin, so I'm thrilled to find something slightly different. It was reduced to £20 for 35cl or £35 for 70cl.

Also, watching "Saving Lives at Sea" is a guilty pleasure of mine, so nice to feel I'm supporting the RNLI back!

@NNat I think most of the Very codes are only for new credit accounts. You can open an account and then pay it off in full if that helps.

Sorry did not mean to stress you! Payment came out of mine straight away and then was refunded this morning but I still haven’t had my order cancelled. In my confirmation email from QVC they said the order was coming directly from Hotel chocolat 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hotel Chocolat usually do a good Black Friday deal, which is why this offer gets knocked off early so they don’t stack like a couple of years ago!

@LDB1985 if it was only the pending transaction that showed on your account they do drop off after so many days. It doesn't mean the order is cancelled unless you hear otherwise and you need to keep those funds available as Hotel Chocolat or QVC (whoever the order was with) can still take that money

Oh the talk of long haul flights has got me thinking about my sister.

She's emigrating (sob) in January and I've been unsure about Xmas presents for her but just realised I could do a little long haul flight pack for her!

So far thinking:

• lip balm
• mini cleanser and moisturiser
• photo bookmark
• decent biro
• puzzle book
• space mask
• face mist - not sure she'd use it though so not sure which one/how much to spend.

Does everyone wear flight socks flying long haul? She's young and healthy so don't think she would. Might go for some fluffy socks for in flight comfort though.
