Sorry my clicky link didn't work! DS17 will love this.

Ilovepugs2017 · 10/11/2023 15:11

Just been to collect the Yankee wax melt burners and wax melts from boots. I done the 3 burners and 9 melts offer. They did honour it however just to let everyone know just incase you’re ordering for gifts, the burners do come unboxed. Attached a photo to show. Still cheap though 😊

Oodie update from 5poundstuff (or whatever it was called). The purple tie dye one is a proper oodie, no packaging but no stains or smell either so will be great for DD who lives in her cheapy ones from previous years’ threads. The pale blue tie dye one isn’t an oodie- says Ovela on the label. Thinner fleece but still nice- got a ribbon round it so looks nicer as a gift.

Ilovepugs2017 · 10/11/2023 15:24

Also just received the oodie I ordered from Amazon. Looks like it’s a genuine one but the brand has been cut out?! Just arrived in a plastic packaging bag though and does smell a bit chemically. Bargain price though - super thick and heavy and soft!

Whoohoo !

My small single item from Debenhams that I ordered late last night has arrived!

Thank you to whoever posted about the free delivery and who helped me find the next day choice !

Still waiting on my bigger order I did at the beginning of the week though...so I don't feel too guilty that it was only £3.50 !

bizzey · 10/11/2023 15:32

If anyone is after an extra stocking filler ...it was a whiskey soap in a tin and smells amazing !!

Has the free delivery now finished?

unicornwonders · 10/11/2023 15:43

does anyone have a UNIdays account who could possibly send me a student discount code for nike please? (pm if possible) would be very great full

mumonthehill · 10/11/2023 15:43

re sizing on the my protein joggers, ds has a 34 inch leg and they are just long enough. They are quite thin and the ones i got a very slim fit. They are fine for the reduced price but but not sure i would pay full price.

Tealfish · 10/11/2023 15:55

Does anyone have any experience with Goose and Gander hoody sizing? I've had a request for one for my size 8 5ft4 DD who wants it slightly oversized. Looks like you can get 10% off when you sign up to their newsletter.

@LemonFrosting .. unfortunately yes.
It was on 8-11pm last night.

But Debenhams do seem to have a good BF sale .

Might be a helpful little extra to boost the total to get their normal free delivery.

frecklejuice · 10/11/2023 16:00

@Threeboysadogandacat thanks for the Mountain Warehouse tip and the extra code, just got dd a coat for £23.99 down from £49.99!

Ahyeh · 10/11/2023 16:02

"Do you have a link for these, I can't find them on the website? Thanks."

I can't see reduced mini Christmas trees but can vouch for them. They are so lovely and ours is still going strong 4 years later

The natural sparkle tree would be just £17 delivered with a £10 off code. I've popped mine over on the referrals board if anyone wants it 🎄

Dolphintrainer · 10/11/2023 16:03

@Tina221 Have PM’d you a Priority code. Should have said it’s only live for 90 mins apparently

Theraffarian · 10/11/2023 16:09

Just a heads up for anyone that joined the Claire’s accessories rewards club. They advertised a £5 reward for joining but actually gave me £10 . Then the item I wanted was reduced by 40% online but not in the shop , however they price match in store if you ask , so I got a £16 bag completely free as my joining reward.

Threeboysadogandacat · 10/11/2023 16:13

@stepfordwifey thank you. I used your code to get some crocodile patterned swimming trunks for my little grandson in keeping with my crocodile theme gifts for all the grandchildren this year.

Ds3 (17) has been given a large TV for his room by his dsis. He now wants a firebox for Christmas. Apparently it’s an Amazon thing @£139.99. I feel quite faint. Is a Black Friday deal likely? I thought I was finished for him!

My Amazon Rick and Morty Oodie has arrived. There’s no obvious labels on it but it is the exact pattern of the real Oodie. On balance, I think it’s real. It’s certainly very thick and fluffy. Ds1 will be happy anyway. He’s easily pleased.

I have another request 🙈

Looking for a large friendship bracelet kit (yes for the Eras tour) but it has 2 specifics... it needs to be glass beads, not the flat clay beads and the coloured beads need to be the same size as the letter beads 🙄

Has anyone purchased a good set lately?

Dd has just requested the same, she has the clay beds but says they are too small and fiddly. Hobby craft do pick and mix needs but only a few are suitable apparently, she said flying tiger are also doing bead sets with bigger beads. If you find a good set then give me a shout as it’s the only thing she’s really asked for.

Blessedbethefruitz · 10/11/2023 16:32

@mickandrorty Is it these? They're 2 for £12 at wh Smith in store and £6 at the works.

I need bike experts please! Ds almost 5 had decided its top of his wish list 😬 The specs are it needs stabilisers, and 16" judging by his height (skinny giant). Me and dp don't know squat about bikes, how important brand is, etc. Does anyone have recommendations? They all look pretty pricey!

We have a kids charity shop round the corner that has some from time to time, and second hand isn't an issue for us, but I've no idea what I'm looking for, or if they'll get one the right size before Christmas...

I was really trying to scale down this year as last year was overwhelming for them, but it looks like that's going out of the window...

I still haven’t caught up with the whole thread, so you may have had plenty of recommendations already. But you cannot go wrong with a Frog bike. They are much lighter than other brands and the brakes etc are scaled down to child size, unlike cheaper brands that use adult parts.
they also hold their value really well, so you can sell it in once your dc has outgrown it.

Thanks very much @Dolphintrainer the decoration looks lovely. I really appreciate you sending me the code, thanks again x

PopcornAndGummyBears · 10/11/2023 16:42

Well now I’m absolutely ragin!!! DH messaged friend to check about lock picking set (didn’t want to buy it in case parents disapproved) and turns out his son already has one 😫Apparently he got one for his birthday a couple of months ago and it went down a treat. Glad it was a good idea, but gutted I can’t use it and so now we’re back to square one.
