When are you putting up the tree?

I’m much more excited about Christmas this year since DS is getting older and looking forward to it.

I don’t usually put up the tree until around 12th/13th but thinking of maybe doing it earlier this year.

Obviously, I still think it’s very early but want to be prepared so we are going to start getting some new decorations for when the time comes.

So when do you put your tree(s) up?

Around mid Dec, this year will probably be 9th Dec or maybe 16th.

We do this too though, take them down 30th/31st December, I like going into the new year with a clean clutter free house! DD's birthday is beginning of January so I like the house to be normal for a few days before the birthday decorations

A week before Xmas day, as usual. 17th most likely.

No, we keep our stand topped up with water and it stays fresh.

A week before Christmas and take it down on the 12th night.

I did it early last year and peaked too soon

30th November or 1st December depending on which day my husband has the time to do it . It comes down on NYE so we are all tidy for the NY .

Do you mean 12th/13th November, OP? Or December?
We put ours up around 15th December when school breaks up (except I'm a teacher and don't break up until 22nd this year ).

On 23rd Dec this year. It’ll come down on 2nd Jan as I’m back to work on 3rd.

Always the nearest weekend to Dec 1st and down again the day after new years day.

Around mid December, a bit earlier if guests are coming. Always a real one that doesn’t come down until 6th Jan, so can’t put it up too early.,,
