M&S is out.

What have I just watched 😂😂😂

Oh I didn't like it much, despite setting out to like it. Just didn't seem terribly Christmassy and the plant was disturbing- the wrong side of the weird/lovable line.

Bring back the boy who wants his parents top open a present and penguin boy!

Oooh. JL a bit sinister to me. Didn’t like it.

I’m wandering round the house muttering WTF have I just watched to myself. It’s completely different.

My 7 year old loves to Rick-Roll people so is made up that Rick Astley features in the Sainsbury's ad.

Also, Amazon is my favourite so far.

Me and DS love it! Thought it was fun but with a lovely sentiment in the background!

I was pleased when I read that the John Lewis
advert was going to me more upbeat this year.

But it just didn’t work for me. It felt lacklustre.

Just looked that one up. Yep, the winner so far. Simple and heartwarming.

Watched jl and M&S. both made me laugh. For a long time I hated the traditional Xmas , everyone pretending to be lovely family whilst during the year they barely talk to each other. So glad these 2 ads are moving away from the happy traditional Xmas

They might not be native but they certainly are in Europe, planned and accidental releases. Bit like grey squirrels I suppose. The Germans even have name for them - Wash Bears - cos they wash their food.

The only good thing about M&S advert is Hannah Waddingham. Love her 😀

I quite like the M&S one, made me laugh. I quite like the idea of getting rid of some traditions, I don't understand sending Christmas cards anymore, for example.

Found most of them quite boring this year...and the JL one is utterly bizarre. Not a fan.

Amazon advert - lovely ♥️

I do love raccoons but for me, Aldi and Morrisons are the winners for me this year 🎄

I like Sainsburys with the Rick Astley cameo,makes me giggle. Amazon is sweet too.

It'll take some beating. It's simple, has a clear storyline, pulls at the heartstrings in a nice way and is very well done. It's definitely my favourite so far.

The John Lewis one is shit. Yet, as usual, people on TV - on the news and Loose Women and This Morning etc - are raving about it.

Aldi one is much better.

Aldi, Lidl and Amazon for the win this year. I don’t mind the M and S one though, largely because of Hannah Waddingham. Rick Astley made me smile. But Johnny Lou Lou? No. Awful.

Love the Aldi one this year, so do my dc. We've watched it quite a few times.

Tesco is out and I really quite like it! Can’t link from tik tok to show you.

I don't mind the JL one, but I am embarrassed by how much the Amazon Christmas ad moved me.

I watched the Tesco one (stroppy teen alert advert) it's a good one .

Though I still love the McDonalds "Forever Young" one from a couple of years ago .
