Starting this in Reastie’s absence. Hope that’s ok.

Some more Neom on tkmaxx in the todays arrivals section including the magnesium body butter which I think I've seen people mention liking previously.

Whoops, sorry I thought I had hit 'reply' to a previous poster - this refers to the Bridal Beauty mystery box.

Reply doesn't quote! If you're on the mobile site, quote is in the drop down in the top right corner of the post. No clue on the app!

Thank you again to @onlyatchristmastime for posting about the Boots beauty box on the last thread.

It arrived today (earlier than expected) and the box is rammed full of products in tetris style fashion, quite impressive as almost all of the products are full size. The lipstick is a very dark shade though so may not be used. Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, Soap & Glory Body Wash, PIXI Glow Tonic and Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb heading for DD's stocking, and the rest of the products is a full skincare routine with the elasticizer I was going to buy regardless. An absolute steal if you can get hold of them as they pop in and out of stock.

I'm looking for the follwing items at reduced prices if anyone can hel:
Steam gift card (not egift card)
Costa gift card (not egift card)
Nike panda dunks ladies size 4
Bubble tea kits (not the asda/tescos as they dont stock them in our local ones)
Smores kits
Stanley quencher H20 cup

Thank you everyone who posts deals, it's been an absolute help!

Ewock · 28/10/2023 14:05

For clinique their website do some good offers. I use their moisturiser and managed to get 3 offers that stacked. It was worth it for me but will depend on what you buy and how much you spend.

For smores we bought the Naked marshmallow ones a month or so back. They were on offer not sure now, but they look really good. We're going to use ours on bonfire night but I bought 2 more for Xmas presents.

punchthecake · 28/10/2023 14:11

Massive apologies to all those excited about a bargain Lego space coaster in b&m (including my son)… just been back for one and they are on the wrong shelves and I didn’t have my glasses on. I am off to the naughty step to think about my behaviour and write “I must not mislead bargain threaders with inaccurate deal spotting” 1000 times.

whoknows1230 · 28/10/2023 08:24

I’ve just returned from holiday and, having had barely had any Wi-Fi signal whilst away, see I’ve missed an entire thread!!

Gutted to see I missed the White Fox discount as a hoodie is on DD’s Xmas list so keeping fingers crossed for a good Black Friday discount.

Off to read the rest of the last thread…

I’ve signed up to the newsletter and got 20% off but it’s only in spends over £60.

psuedocream3 · 28/10/2023 14:17

Thanks @Ewock I did see it posted a little while back but hesitated and then they went out of stock, I'm kicking myself now as I need to buy three sets for gifts. You definitely got a bargain, they look really good.

Elephantino · 28/10/2023 14:20

I have a one use voucher for £50 off a £200 spend at Beaverbrooks. Message me if you can use it.

White Fox: the offstage hoodies are massive, my 13 year old (5’3”) got xs/s and they are down to just above her knees and the arms cover her hands.

There are a few on Vinted and they seem to sell quickly. I’d probably do that rather than return to Australia.

Signing up to newsletter gets 20% off

GIFT15: 15% off ( don’t think they stack)

m I heard Topcash available too but I didn’t try that as I forgot 🤦🏻‍♀️

Postage is flat £6 for orders under £100.
Delivery took 8 days from placing order to UK home address.

Stock is in and out, but you can get stock alerts if you click on the size you want, this works well.
I’ve had to place a couple of orders to get the right size/colour options which is super annoying due to £6 delivery charge.

EVERY year my DD wants something I have to faff about getting, checking stock and I just wanted this done ✅ 🤞🏼

did you manage to get a size that fits. My DD is same age and size and I’ve ordered xs/s as that seemed to be showing as size 6. Might be way to big though

Gustavo1 · 28/10/2023 14:27

Still worth a look in local Sainsburys. Toys had been moved to the discount idles but there was a large Philly picket treehouse for £12.50 and those wishlamp things for £20

I'm sure I've seen them on offer in the past and didn't go for it. So fingers crossed they might be on offer again.

HappiDaze · 28/10/2023 14:33

@psuedocream3

Nike panda dunks size 4 (older kids) hence cheaper from Nike app

Shamed by all the typos there. Hopefully you can still get the gist 😐

PumpkinSpicedTea · 28/10/2023 14:40

Can anyone recommend reasonably priced traditional picture advent calendars? I really fancied getting one but a quick Google showed average price of £5 😲

@Lastminutebride at he xs/s is the smallest size. DD just ticks it up, looks ok but big

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 28/10/2023 14:49

Hopefully this one is generic. 10 free photo christmas cards on photobox (just pay postage) with code FREECARDS

my emails says valid until Mon 2nd Nov but obviously 2nd November isn't a Monday so have asked for clarification if it is until Mon 30th Oct or Thurs 2nd Nov

(Hoping this hasn't replaced the free easel calendar they usually do)

@psuedocream3 for bubble tea I bought DS this set from Oliver Bonas.

I’ve also bought another set from Next here
as I wanted a bubble tea cup and straw for him, this cup also stuff in to make one bubble tea drink.

I was in Liverpool One yesterday and noticed they had sets in Kenji. They don’t have an online store but may be an option if there is a store near you.

Make Your Own Bubble Tea Kit | Oliver Bonas

Create fruity boba bubble tea at home with this super simple kit. Including six single serve sachets of bubble tea syrup, choose from strawberry, mango or ceylon tea flavouring, alongside six servings of popping boba and individually wrapped chunky pap...

On the issue of cancelling DDs. I signed up for the three ,moths of radio times for £1. The £1 has come out of my account though I haven’t received a copy of the radio times yet. If I cancel the DD now will I still get the magazines?

I selected the Christmas issue so my moneys not yet gone, which did you select?

Just in case anyone has ordered their Xmas pjs early (like me), these are showing up on my Asda rewards.
I'm currently in Majorca so my mums double checking if they're in stores yet (north east area), I'll just return them and purchase again to get the £5 in rewards points I would have earned 😂

These are the pjs I got, they're gorgeous very colourful but the equality of Asda George pjs are going downhill 😩

What trainers are popular among teen girls and are there any deals to be had? DD (16) has worn Stan Smiths for years - she is quite petite and has narrow feet so anything too clumpy or clunky just either looks ridiculous on her, or slips at the heels. She has orthotics too which don’t help either. She could really do with some new shoes though - obviously wears school shoes while there and wouldn’t choose to wear sporty trainers, so need something else for casual wear. Really don’t want to spend more than £50 though. Other DC wear Vans/Nikes/DMs none of which fit DD1 well so I’m stumped. Bonus points if it’s from somewhere which will take returns after Christmas even if bought now. (Because it’s never a given that shoes will fit her)

My son has very slim feet and we found the unisex youth Nike Star Runner trainers to be a good fit. The shop assistant directed us to Adidas and Nike for slim feet. They go up to a size 7.

For boots, I also struggle to find ones to fit due to slim feet/ankles. A game-changer I've recently discovered is to cut a few inches off the toe-end of a thick-ish pair of socks and wear the remaining tube over your ankle and heel (over a normal pair of socks). This bulks the area around the ankle helping with the fit of boots that are otherwise too loose.
