Thanks for new thread @Reastie 7 pages in already!

I’m looking to get the original GHD hair straighteners for my daughter - RRP is £130 😕 If anyone sees/ knows of a discount I’d be very grateful 😊

Claramay78 · 15/10/2023 13:33

re goalie gloves, my footballers like adidas predator. remember to get right size!

Restlessinthenorth · 15/10/2023 12:02

@Scoleah thank you! Never heard of the delivery thing before. Are there other deals that come as part of it?

I have no idea!
But I'll look into it & let you know, I didn't realise they gave member only offers etc! I just read they give a £10 off voucher on your birthday too!

Threeboysadogandacat · 15/10/2023 14:06

I just bought all the littles in the family hooded towels from Boden. I looked everywhere for a discount code and couldn’t find one. Of course this came in yesterday’s post. Hopefully someone can use it.

Where have all the 3 for 2 offers gone this year. Matalan and Pets At Home usually have them, but I've not seen any yet.

Thegoldgrind · 15/10/2023 14:44

The Spicery have 33% off Legends Cookbook Kits, always a well received gift!

Rudeface · 15/10/2023 14:47

Both white stuff calendars have arrived! Thank you op!

Long shot but is Argos on the blue light card site or the teacher one?

Thank you for the brand recommendation - I'll take a look - I hadn't even realised they were in different sizes! 🤦‍♀️ I'll have a Google what size is right for a 10 year old.

itscatnaltime · 15/10/2023 15:13

Is anyone else still waiting for their White Stuff order to be despatched?

Trainstrike · 15/10/2023 15:14

Argos do discounted gift cards on Blue Light so normally 3-4% off I think.

Dee1224 · 15/10/2023 15:18

@itscatnaltime - I got despatch confirmation straightaway, but I did click and collect and haven’t heard anymore. Hopefully something will come through tomorrow, but if not I will be kicking myself for not paying for delivery!

Yes, I was quite late to the party. I ordered using the 15% discount and paid postage, then two orders (1 in the early hours and one the next day) to collect at the WS shop. I have confirmation email’s but no dispatch email yet.

Has anyone shopped with Frugi? What are their sizes like. I’m sending to New Zealand so don’t want them to be too small.

CottonHeadedNinnyMug · 15/10/2023 15:58

I've found Frugi to be accurate if not a bit generous in sizing, but I guess depends if they are tall for their age etc?

I was just about to say I haven't but its just this minute come through but only for the single pair or socks, not the advent although it did say some orders get split. I'm assuming the advent is out of stock or they've put a hold on them pending cancellation tomorrow.

I ordered about 20.30 on Friday for delivery to store.

Callmesleepy · 15/10/2023 16:29

@Threeboysadogandacat I've always found frugi to be fairly generous, similar sizing to Boden and joules. The grown up stuff can be a weird shape though so would stick to the kids unless it's accessories.

Always found blade and rose to have a similar sort of vibe and they currently have free hat with £10 order, code HAT10. Always appreciate a bobble the same size as the childs head.

ShangPie · 15/10/2023 16:30

Lurker here; my two click and collect WS orders from around 10.30pm on Friday have not gone through, despite confirmation emails. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Does anyone know if Dr Martens get big reductions on Black Friday or the run-up to Xmas? DH wants a pair of classic black 1460 8-hole DMs, but they are about £150 😱

I saw a PP saying that ASOS have a 20% offer coming up which would take them to £120 but still… Anyone know if it’s worth waiting for something better?

Cluckycluck · 15/10/2023 16:31

@Checkinmylist1 there is usually a black friday offer on GHDs on Amazon so it might be worth waiting for that.

Claramay78 · 15/10/2023 16:34

I've got new keeper gloves from Vinted.

Still waiting for WS stuff to be despatched

Theraffarian · 15/10/2023 16:52

There’s a specific thread for White Stuff socks , only as it will save this one being filled up too quickly , it may be best to keep the sock stuff to that one Here

Has anyone else not received a dispatch email from white stuff for the socks? Ordered at around 6 yesterday but no dispatch yet

Redwinestillfine · 15/10/2023 17:02

Frugi sizing is not small and leaves room for cloth nappies ( in babies/ toddlers)

Glad you found them- when I need a laugh they are my go to 😂

Threeboysadogandacat · 15/10/2023 17:28

@Callmesleepy I love Blade and Rose. They have the style of clothes I’d have loved to dress my older boys in when they were little. Boys clothes were so boring 25+ years ago. Ds2 spent his first few years wearing his cousin’s (female) hand me down leggings. I’ve just bought the Peter Rabbit set for dh’s GGS, sadly before they had the free hat offer!

Thanks for all the advice re. Frugi. I got some lovely swim shorts in the sale to go with their Boden hooded towels. There is also an extra discount for signing up to their newsletter. Now that is me really done for the littles. It would be so easy to overspend on them. There are so many lovely things.
