Can anyone recommend a good indoor tent/ teepee for a toddler that also can be stored away easily and not take up much room? My son loves trying to hide in blankets, storage cubes, under tables etc etc etc and I think he'd love his own little tent for Christmas but we are very limited on space!

Argos have a Chad valley tent & tunnel on offer for about £12/13

hby9628 · 20/10/2023 22:46

@Moonshine5 they are White Fox hoodies

Thank you
Do you think these could these be split for gifts? Or do they say not to be sold separately on them ? Thank you

The offer is to buy 5 boxes, not a box of 5, so wouldn’t necessarily need to split (unless you’re gifting to a lot of people)

Moonshine5 · 20/10/2023 22:03

@Mentaldays what website is it for the off stage hoodies please?

@Moonshine5 its White Fox on the .co.uk site so you get pricing in £

I'm sure everyone knows about Studio and their personalised products. I've often bought their pencil sets.

They have personalised football boot bags on offer for £8 which seems a good price. Not the best quality ever, but not bad for the price and I've always found their customer service good.

Personalised Boot Bag £8 from Studio in red or blue (black currently out of stock)

Hi! Can anyone recommend a good first perfume for a 14 year old. I think I’ve narrowed it down to Ariana Grande Pink Cloud, Marc Jacobs Daisy or Marc Jacobs honey. What are your teenagers wearing these days?!?

My 15 year old loves Tommy Girl and it's a real nostalgia trip when I smell it Grin

Help! Any thoughts for what to buy a friend in her forties with good taste, loves dresses, walking her dog, wine nights with friends. Other successful gifts have been cyberjammies and Elizabeth Scarlett makeup bag. Any 💡??

Gloves from either turtle doves or Nearly New Cashmere?

Or cashmere bed socks)

Threeboysadogandacat · 20/10/2023 23:14

@Stripedfluffysocks Thank you. That would be perfect 😊

InDreamland · 20/10/2023 23:16

Sorry if this has already been posted but was browsing the Argos toy sale and came across this Barbie Estate dolls house with 3 dolls for half price, was £180 down to £90.

Did you pay £4.99 (scandalous) delivery charge or did you find a way around it? Tia.

Gah glad I put was 5 boxes but have to say I assumed was BOGOF so maybe not such a deal…Unless you are buying a lot of spacemasks sorry

BlackFlyChardonnay · 21/10/2023 06:13

Has anyone bought squishmallows from aliexpress before? My middle child wants a Kirby squishmallow, the bigger the better, and the cost of everything I've seen in UK shops is a bit crazy.
Aliexpress have some but I'm always dubious of what size it'll actually be when it arrives, and I obviously don't want my child cuddling up to something made of asbestos and lead (half joking, but also not).

Anyone bought squishmallow type toys from there that can recommend for or against?

I want to print cushion covers with a fab photo but only want the covers not the insert as I need to post.
Has anyone seen any good deals?

Etsy
I used personalisedgifts101 but there are few options

mummyof2boys30 · 21/10/2023 07:28

Yeahas · 21/10/2023 08:05

The Works gifts are now 3 for £12 instead of 3 for £15.

I just wouldn’t because you absolutely don’t know what they are made of and they don’t comply with European standards.

CheesyChipsOnWembleyWay · 21/10/2023 08:10

My youngest would definitely be able to tell a "fake" squishmallow as well.

There's been some offers on the entertainer for buy one get one half price recently. They do come up fairly often on Vinted as well.

We had ours from here OHS
& they've been great! They start from £13, might be good to try out to see if he likes them first Smile

Have a look on Facebook marketplace and see if anyone’s getting rid of one near you? We got one for DD for £10 a few years ago which was 2 tents connected by a tunnel! The IKEA one mentioned above is great too.

winewolfhowls · 21/10/2023 08:39

@AchillesInHeels we have had one like this which is £13 reduced from 48, which was well loved. Also once bought a discount real Pop up tent which was good because we would leave it outside as a den in the summer months.

winewolfhowls · 21/10/2023 08:41

Ooh looking further at the website there are loads of different tents

Georgieporgie29 · 21/10/2023 08:45

Does anybody know of a discount for The North Face? Or if they tend to do anything around Black Friday? Dh wants a coat but it is super expensive.

also have noticed the xplr club does anyone know what that is? Is it a paid for subscription service as it offers a discount for joining that but paying to join may be worth the discount? Thanks.

Not a Christmas present, but for anyone who likes a freebie, Smyths are doing their free Lego bags today, 1 set per child, while stocks last. https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/in-store-events

XmasShoppingsister · 21/10/2023 09:15

@Gladysrocker Yes, you're right it is a standard £4.99 delivery fee no matter how much (or little) you order from Studio. I'd made quite a large order so hadn't really thought about shipping costs.

But yes you're right £4.99 for just one item does seem expensive. So maybe the boot bag isn't such a good deal after all.
