New thread for sharing bargains before the Christmas Bargains Thread is started by @Reastie.

It wasn't just an accidental reveal of her name, the links she posted had a badge on it saying her Amazon storefront name recommends this on it which is a sign of an affiliate link. The Amazon store is registered to someone with her first name and says "earns commission". It is in no-ones interest if we have a flood of posts recommending average Amazon priced stuff in order to earn commission. It's disingenuous and takes away from all the actual bargains here.

I don’t want to send anyone on a wild goose hunt , but there are some truly adorable Bambi bits in Poundland of all places at the moment . Two different bags , one a black backpack and one a brown embossed bag at £10 and a duo sided Bambi and Thumper purse at £4 . I can no post since I snaffled the one I wanted for myself today !

Amazing! Thanks for these. Just bought for myself (not for Xmas!!) I bloody love my period knickers but just don't have quite enough so am always trying to quickly get them washed as they're usually so expensive! This will make every month a little bit less stressful 😁

I got the massage gun for Christmas and I find it quite painful - only really use it for legs. The shoulder massager arrived today and my husband used it - he woke up with stiff neck yesterday - and he really liked it. He refused to use the gun as he doesn’t like it

@InDreamland would it be possible to add a few sentences to the start of the next thread to explain that it is MN that adds affiliate links, not the people actually posting the links?

Three or four time per thread we end up with some poor soul being accused of it.

@BarbieWorldFantastic if it says 'featured by Mumsnet earns commissions' with the Mumsnet logo at the top then the affiliate link has been added by Mumsnet themselves. Any other name at the top and it's been added by the poster. Hope that helps ☺️
