Die Hard - Christmas Eve Tradition

I'm not sure when my husband and I will find watching Die Hard on Christmas Eve a chore but we've watched it every year since we got together and bloody love it.

Even have a handmade Christmas Tree decoration which is going strong 5 years or so later!

Anyone else watch it Christmas Eve every year?

Am doing the series - just watched Die Hard 3. 2 more years before either we start again or find another series with explosions. It's the big bangs I want.

Die Hard 5 is terrible but the guy who plays his son is hoooooooooot so I persevere 😂.

Never seen it before but watched it last night with my 2 teenage boys. Fantastic. Darts& Die Hard- an excellent Christmas Eve.

Yes! Dh & I watch it every Christmas Eve once the DC have gone to bed. Our teen joined us for the first time this year, she gave it a "solid 7/10" 😮 she's not invited next year 😂

Yes, every Christmas Eve whilst we finish wrapping presents. DS 14 wants to watch it this year so we might have the first 3 on over the next couple of days.

It's definitely a Christmas film, he even puts a santa hat and Ho ho ho on the dead terrorist after he kills him. How can that not be Christmassy!

Either Die Hard or Lethal Weapon, every Christmas eve for the last 19 years (pre dc).

Before that we would be out on Christmas eve but would watch other nights. We had them on VHS cassette, then DVD and now watch via the firestick.

Hob I only found out it was a real building (and still standing) yesterday. I assumed it was a movie set.

mine on christmas eve was the traditional version of a christmas carol and todays is always the sir john mills version of great expectations two films i can watcth over again each year

We have discovered it fairly recently. Loved it and now it's a regular at Xmas. Die Hard 2 is even better.

We always watch it on Christmas Eve too - and this year I had my 'welcome to the party, pal' T-shirt on :) Started watching Die Hard 2 last night, but then the chocolate martini hit me and I had to go for a lie down :)
