As in; not something that needs wrapping and unwrapping, I order it to be delivered direct….
last year I sent some friends a fancy fortnum and Mason biscuit tin (some kind of musical carousel one), the year before I sent a bloom and wild mini Christmas tree in a pot.
It’s just a little token gesture that they receive pre Christmas. What can I get this year?

Nice wreath or Xmas bouquet?

FTM2022SS · 30/11/2022 12:24

These are my absolute favourite gifts - I'm not sure if her Christmas Diary will still be open or not! But as a regular sender and occasional receiver they are beautiful and delicious!

Wreath is a nice idea but I suppose people like to choose their own for their front doors don’t they?
i know I probably wouldn’t appreciate being sent one as I’d want to choose my own 🙈
the mini tree I sent them was just a bit of fun and they’ve planted it in the garden now.
the biscuits do look nice but a bit… underwhelming 😳 sorry, I’m sure they’re delicious but £40 for 8 fairly standard plain biscuits with icing?

On Amazon a lot of stuff you can select it to be gift wrapped and sent.

TheChosenTwo · 30/11/2022 12:38

Actually I think I got the prices wrong, double sorry now!

make beautiful biscuits. They look and taste amazing. Not cheap though!

Lots of unusual ideas on here to suit all different budgets. Good luck!

Eleusa · 30/11/2022 12:50

Another vote for Biscuiteers. I have sent the Nutcracker set before and it is beautiful.

Toomanysleepycats · 30/11/2022 12:52

My son in law never knows what to get me, so a few years ago I let him know that (like cats) you can never have too many indoor plants.

TheChosenTwo · 30/11/2022 13:11

I sent them a biscuiteers tin and biscuits at Easter! They are pretty but apparently taste like a standard supermarket biscuit 🙈 (this wasn’t a negative by the way, they did like them!) never eaten one myself.
maybe an indoor plant is the way they go.

Brownies in the post from Etsy. We sent some to DS at uni as a pick me up present. By all accounts they were enjoyed. Currently 20% off too!

stuntbubbles · 30/11/2022 13:24

A dinner box from Côte or Cook or similar for a festive meal at home?

Lovemylittlebear · 30/11/2022 13:36

What about a discovery box from naturisimo or a pamper box from evolve. Bit of a pre Christmas home facial and self care?

mumda · 30/11/2022 13:52

A tesco delivery of booze.

I used to do that for my dad's birthday. Wrapping isn't very fancy but you can't beat it for value. :)

Sadik · 30/11/2022 14:06

Nice bottle of pudding wine?

Eleusa · 30/11/2022 14:26

the year before I sent a bloom and wild mini Christmas tree in a pot

Thanks for mentioning this- had never heard of it and it will be perfect for my Gran.

Sugaspunsista · 30/11/2022 14:27

I recently sent my boyfriend some pies from therealpiecompany. They were delicious

Is there such a thing? Grin

CalamityClam · 30/11/2022 15:35

Just sent the Etsy brownies to DD at Uni 👍🏻

@TheChosenTwo

I don't mean to detail but M & S had the same tree as Bloom and a fraction of the price .

ifIwerenotanandroid · 30/11/2022 16:07

Dried flowers?

Good to know! Not a derail, could be handy for others. Does it include the decorations and lights too? The B&W one did, just in case someone was debating the 2.
I think I’m going to go for a Cote meal delivery box or something like that, kind of like buying them dinner but they obviously will still have to make it themselves 😂
