As in; not something that needs wrapping and unwrapping, I order it to be delivered direct….
last year I sent some friends a fancy fortnum and Mason biscuit tin (some kind of musical carousel one), the year before I sent a bloom and wild mini Christmas tree in a pot.
It’s just a little token gesture that they receive pre Christmas. What can I get this year?

Fat rascals from Betty's? Alongside some nice teas etc...

They have some lovely hampers as well.

Puddings?

Their Traditional Christmas Pudding is lovely!

I always send Costco things for people I’m sending gifts to , normally I go for the tower of treats but I’m underwhelmed this year so I’ve done the trio of Belgian chocolates

The Little Botanical do really nice houseplants in pots and everything comes well packaged, they've never disappointed.

Agree that Biscuiteers taste very average. They're beautiful biscuits but look far better than they actually taste. I received a box as a gift and thought it was a lovely gesture but in my opinion they aren't worth that about of money.

This wouldn't appeal or be useful for everybody, but many years ago we adopted a bat at London Zoo for our daughter's birthday. Can't remember the details but we got at least one free entry ticket so we could take her to see the bat. (She's inexplicably fond of bats.)

TheChosenTwo · 30/11/2022 19:45

Ahh @Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g that’s a quirky obsession but I remember my ds having a similar obsession and encyclopaedic knowledge of bat facts up his sleeve for about a year when he was 6, so cute!

A 12 days advent calendar? You could do a Laura Ashley one but maybe the pringles one is more unisex. Bonne maman might be 24 days.

Is there such a thing? Grin

Yes, if you buy proper German marzipan from Niederegger.

reluctantbrit · 30/11/2022 21:39

At our company we. did Betty's tea and biscuits. Quite nice but not sure if worth the money.

Last year a friend sent us a little Christmas tree, bottle of processo cocktail and. mince. pies from M&S.

We also gave gifts from Choconcho. Bit unusual things and found the chocolate nice.

purser25 · 30/11/2022 21:55

hattie43 · 01/12/2022 14:10

@TheChosenTwo

It did yes . It was instore though so not sure if it's available for delivery .

Hbh17 · 01/12/2022 14:14

Definitely not a door wreath - they are not to everyone's taste (I would bin it if somebody sent one to me!).
Meg Rivers do good cakes, biscuits etc by post, but they are almost sold out for Xmas already.
