Just found my perfect dress for the Christmas party, have you found yours?

I've been looking for a while know, but today I have found the perfect Little black dress, it fits a treat! Bought a dress from Bonmarche in their black Friday sale, bargain! Its sparkling with a lovely detail around the neck that flatters my figure! So excited.

I have my bag from last year with dimities over the clutch part and shoes that match. I am all set! Now to get the weather to stop raining so my hair doesn't frizz 😜

How about you guys? Are you going on any Christmas parties, or work nights out?

This is mine, I'm going to put a cropped black denim jacket and knee boots with it to dress it up a bit

Ohhh…this is where I remember that I’m the world’s worst excuse for a female - I’ll be going to our Christmas do in my jeans, biker boots and leather jacket 😂

I do have this beauty though for Christmas Day and it goes perfectly with my slingbacks

I'm feeling inspired by all the excitement on this thread.

I had written off bothering to find anything to wear this year as I can't get my head around being a couple of sizes larger than I think I should be (perimenopause plus too many calories 'in' I think).

But I've put my big girl pants on and booked a personal stylist appt at John Lewis tomorrow. I'm dreading it in a way, but logically I know that being a size 16 doesn't mean I can't feel good in my clothes!

All my December events are meals out or house parties so the slightly more casual vibe is perfect. I have a pair of knee high black suede boots with a chunky keel that I'll wear with it and some long dangly silver star earrings.

Judging by the chatter in my office and on this thread she's talking bollocks - especially given a lot of people seem to have have been living in pj's and loungewear for three years, they're desperate to get dressed up!

Agreed. I think everyone is making up for list time. I wish I had a Christmas party to dress up for. My last one I wore an Oasis (before turning into Bohoo) black fit and flare dress, with Angel sleeves and silver glitter spots all over. It was a beautiful dress.

I normally wear all black, modern and simple (I have a lot of things like what @RTHJ14 posted), but I feel like now I'd wear something flouncy, in a vivid print, probably flammable..? In reality our Christmas Day is a relaxed family affair and I will be in my nicest looking comfies. Hope this thread keeps going as I will live vicariously...

Bought this, have a belt and shoes too. Now I can't go thanks to train strikes and I'm disappointed
