Just found my perfect dress for the Christmas party, have you found yours?

I've been looking for a while know, but today I have found the perfect Little black dress, it fits a treat! Bought a dress from Bonmarche in their black Friday sale, bargain! Its sparkling with a lovely detail around the neck that flatters my figure! So excited.

I have my bag from last year with dimities over the clutch part and shoes that match. I am all set! Now to get the weather to stop raining so my hair doesn't frizz 😜

How about you guys? Are you going on any Christmas parties, or work nights out?

That jumpsuit is perfect for my rather more formal Christmas Day. I nearly got one on the website ( spend £25 and save 25%) but was unsure about what it would look like

Went to Asda and there was some in stock although only bigger sizes. It’s loose but still looks really classy. Can wear a normal bra and don’t have to shave my legs. Love it.

Yep I found it in the back of the wardrobe, think I bought it in the sales at Christmas three months before lockdown, and finally wearing it this year!!

Size wise it's quite forgiving. It a stretchy jersey material. I'm usually a 12-14 and a 12 was almost too big m. Tried a 10 but whilst it fitted it showed some lumps and bumps so went for 12 in the end.

I'm 53 and I was going to wear a next black lace dress for two Christmas parties I've got. I'm a size 16 and it looks OK. Except the 30 year old lady who does my nails said no one dresses up anymore and I'll look out of place. Is she talking crap! 😂

One party is a school works do and the other is a girls night out at a hotel, most of us are over 40.

This is mine ☺️ I'm a little on the alternative side so will be wearing with fishnets, dr martens and a corset belt

This is mine. Festive but also super comfy (have had so many scratchy and uncomfortably bulky sequin dresses over the years).

I think maybe lace has dipped out of fashion ( although I guess it depends on the actual style of dress). Shoes are the other thing - what were you thinking of wearing ?

School party sounds like black lace might be too much. I bet it’s more palazzo pants and nice top.
Hotel with the girls it might be ok if they’re all dressing up.

I bought mine in 2020 and every party I’ve planned to wear it to has been cancelled because of COVID! Fingers crossed for next weekend!
