Thanks for the hot diamonds tip, managed to use the birthday code even though I didn’t receive the email and used it last year.

Codes also stacked with the 20% abandoned basket code so my £35 earrings were £4.60!

You didn’t get an email? How did you get the code?

BeaLola · 24/11/2022 16:39

Can someone kindly remind me how I find the trade in for a kindle on Amazon ? Thanks

BeaLola · 24/11/2022 16:42

Oops and meant to ask is there any massive difference between the Paperwhite or the Paperwhite Signature (apart from price) - am dithering (could u tell )

Mama1980 · 24/11/2022 16:43

Hi all I'm looking for squishmallows / squishville sets for one of my nieces. Has anyone seen any on offer please? Thank you.

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 24/11/2022 16:50

I got some chocolate!! Let's hope it arrives this time :)

Needtostartover · 24/11/2022 16:51

I only went to pick the children up and suddenly everyone’s managed to get chocolate again 😩

APotatoFlewAcrossTheRoomLastNightExcuseTheMess · 24/11/2022 16:51

Smyths and Amazon have 30cm squishmallows for £12.99 if that's any good? Seem to be £17 elsewhere after a quick look

Confusedmeanderings · 24/11/2022 16:53

So i'm a bit clueless when it comes to buying Tech. DH has just announced that he would like to listen to audiobooks. He doesn't want to use his phone because its a work one. What would be the best way for him to do this? it needs to be cheap because while we're not skint, we don't have a lot to spend. Would an echo dot do it?

APotatoFlewAcrossTheRoomLastNightExcuseTheMess · 24/11/2022 16:54

Just seen this for Smyths store in Wrexham only, spend £15 in store and get £6 off, ends today though!!

@Confusedmeanderings Yes, but it needs to connect to a phone to use whatever you're listening to audiobooks... so still using his workphone? Unless you connect it to your phone or a tablet etc. The Echo Dot is just a speaker.

buckeejit · 24/11/2022 17:26

@OxfordDog there's plenty of the seconds oodies on eBay

buckeejit · 24/11/2022 17:31

@Confusedmeanderings if you get a cheap smartphone then you can use your library app for free audiobooks or if he's sure he'll like them, the best audible subscription is an annual one where you get 24 credits at one go for about £110. I started maybe 6-7 years ago & love it.

Purpletoes · 24/11/2022 17:31

I keep missing the chocolate 🍫 😭.
Hygge have 10 headbands for £30 including the kids ones

tabbycat985 · 24/11/2022 17:36

He needs a device to store the audiobooks on - e.g. a phone, a Kindle, a tablet like an iPad or his desktop/laptop computer.

Then to listen to them he can either listen direct from the device (e.g. earplugs in, connect to iPad; speakers from his tablet or laptop) or connect to a speaker like an Alexa.

So you need to know how & where he would like to listen to them.

Have a look at the ‘How to Listen’ page on Audible
