PSA - I know people like to give photo calendars but as a recipient of nice and nephew ones they can be so annoying to receive. I don't want a massive calendar and even if I did tbh I want to choose one with designs I like.

If I want to display family pictures I'll print and frame them but don't make me have to put up a calendar out of guilt. Also - in our old house space was precious so it was awkward to even find somewhere to put it.

Just my two pennies worth

All of our recipients are grateful and love them. You just have to note responses and give accordingly!

@OliverBabish we've had a tesco delivery slot on the evening of the 23rd for the past few years and hardly had anything substituted.

Have to admit I felt quite festive this morning, being grumpy at having to wake up at 6am to bag a delivery slot is a Christmas tradition now 😂 only took about 10 minutes to get through, I'm sure the same thing happened last year with the non-delivery saver slots being so much quicker

redjoker · 22/11/2022 09:29

I dont have delivery saver and dont even have a preferred supermarket, im not loyal to any of them lol but got a slot for 22nd at tesco this morning no issues :)

15% off £25 Spend. at The Works with code TW15

deeplybaffled · 22/11/2022 09:32

@Amandasummers - we have the yoto mini which is a good bit cheaper and has all the same features apart from the night light.
think there is a code DD20 as well, which definitely works on the cards and might on the player?

redjoker · 22/11/2022 09:34

A little early to say so but the thread moved FAST yesterday, so just a heads up @Reastie that end of today we will need a new thread I think :) :)

Thanks @ahunf

LuckyTigress · 22/11/2022 09:40

Thank you @caz198917 !

I used your code and paid for a second sack which will contain Santa’s presents for my twins first Christmas 🥰

zeerecords · 22/11/2022 09:41

If anyone has just one more spare sack code that would be great thanks I couldn't get through the queue last night before falling asleep!

Yalz · 22/11/2022 09:43

@ExcuseeeeMe thank you for mentioning the Tesco Christmas slots. I have just tried, and got a slot for the evening of the 23rd with no waiting.

Smileatthesmallthings · 22/11/2022 09:44

@Amandasummers Code DD20 works on the yoto mini on the yoto website. My 5yo absolutely loves his.

I'm on the look out for a Sandscape/tile sand art - DD saw one on holiday and loved it. I keep getting Facebook ads for them but unsure if they're a bit scammy. Anyone recommend any?

Fuckingfuckssake · 22/11/2022 10:07

If anyone is buying a bike.

At Quidco I should say.

Myleakycauldron · 22/11/2022 10:08

I am buying something from Smiggle for the first time but haven't quite reached the free delivery threshold - I know it's popular here, are there any bargains I am missing out on? Buying for nieces 4 - 9 years! Or any codes I should know about?

CheeseIsMyPatronus · 22/11/2022 10:08

I got so excited by the Office Black Friday discounts on Doc Martens because mine have split - only to realise they were out of stock in most sizes! Drat.

How old are they, is Baker ross too young?

Did someone mention earlier that you can get an extra £5 off Amazon if you start a gift list or something?

We did this at the weekend and waited in vain for the credit. Turns out in the teeny tiny print only the first of so many 000's of customers qualified

I'm so glad to see the Hairy Milk is popular! I should be getting pay-back! It does smell amazing. I have THE most sensitive scalp on the planet and it's never made me itch - all natural ingredients.

Read this and see wasn't sure if you were referring to the chocolate Grin

Niche and nerdy but bargainous gift set here for the D&D or Stranger Things fans in your life...

Official D&D merch, beautifully boxed mug, pint glass and two coasters set. Usually retails for £24.99 and Zavvi currently has a Black Friday price of £18.99. I had it in several baskets waiting for a price drop and saw Amazon take it down to £16.90.

Went to investigate and found the set has an extra 40% discount at Amazon checkout taking it to £10.14: GEEKY BARGAIN GOODNESS! Hope it can help someone else too...

Amazing find thank you! Off to order one for DD Stranger Things fan who will love this!

Fuckingfuckssake · 22/11/2022 10:22

40% cashback at Sephora today with Quidco!

Re: Argos codes-any idea how you get them sent to you? Is it just because you buy regularly? Or is it an incentive to complete a purchase in your basket?

I'm umming and ahhing about a toniebox currently at £64 and wondering if I can get the system to send me a money off code! Thanks x

Is any cheaper if you buy direct with a referral code?

Needtostartover · 22/11/2022 10:26

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads Thank you. I gave one last year which was well received so have just made another one. Postage checked out at £2.99 (tracked but not express delivery so be careful which option you choose). Couldn’t remember password used and could find the reset password thing so used work email.
