Has anyone ever done or bough a flying lesson before through Buy a Gift or Virgin? Just wondering they are worth doing? I have a 14 year old boy who keeps mentioning about being a pilot so thought it might be good but dh isn't keen. I'm struggling here with things to buy him!

Have you considered gliding lessons, they are considerably cheaper. I can get 4 gliding lessons for less than one flying lesson. I also have a 15 yr old aspiring pilot

@Twinsandsome thank you very much - looks like it might be under H J Hall?

thaegumathteth · 20/11/2022 21:03

Re buy a gift - we had a similar experience with a paintballing voucher - it was gifted to ds and the site hadn't updated that the local place didn't do it anymore

Threeboysandadog · 20/11/2022 21:05

Vera Tucci

Some good gifts in the 3 for £10

Sleepdeprivedzombie · 20/11/2022 21:08

More on the sock front. Not a bargain but these look lush.

I’ve had a look for you but I don’t think they are on there. I tried various different combinations.

chillimice · 20/11/2022 21:11

@FluffyCat17 Costa/starbucks is always good imo amongst most teenagers but it does depend what's near their school. Just eat a good shout, mine would also like greggs/Nando's/cinema/Deliveroo but it does depend what they have access to on their way home..

sorryiasked · 20/11/2022 21:12

Thanks @Twinsandsome perhaps they've stopped it although there's a link from their website

@Flapjack637 I'm not on bluelight to help look but the website is just hj.co.uk if that makes.it easier

No that’s no good either. They list the companies alphabetically and it’s not on that list either.

Yes it’s def not on there from what I can see. I followed the link but still nothing.
I just did a google and this one popped up BLUELIGHT-YW84 on nhsdiscounts.org.uk. I’m not NHS so don’t have access to that usually.

sorryiasked · 20/11/2022 21:25

@Flapjack637 Thanks so much, that works!

Flapjack637 · 20/11/2022 21:26

@sorryiasked
Oh brilliant!

Burt's bees bauble which was popular many threads ago is down to £4.12, I can't remember how low it went before though
