Has anyone ever done or bough a flying lesson before through Buy a Gift or Virgin? Just wondering they are worth doing? I have a 14 year old boy who keeps mentioning about being a pilot so thought it might be good but dh isn't keen. I'm struggling here with things to buy him!

I booked a flying lesson for my son as we had somewhere local available to us. Except when we rang them, they hadn't been offering it there for a while but BuyAGift hasn't updated their site. The closest one is a few hours away so we changed the experience for something else. Just something to bare in mind if you have a local one you're planning for x

Plum 8ft trampoline £80.99

£89.99 with a further 10% off with code BF10

ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner · 20/11/2022 19:17

@APotatoFlewAcrossTheRoomLastNightExcuseTheMess that's really annoying, I hope he enjoyed the other experience.

We would have to go to Shoreham in East Sussex as that's the nearest place, you didn't try to go there did you?!

APotatoFlewAcrossTheRoomLastNightExcuseTheMess · 20/11/2022 19:17

Also, 30% off at Lolas Lashes with code BF30

@ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner oh no, don't worry it wasn't there. Might be worth ringing them before you commit though to be sure! Good luck 🤞

handmademitlove · 20/11/2022 19:35

@ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner Shoreham is in West Sussex - if that makes a difference to travelling time!

Cuwins · 20/11/2022 17:20

@roaringmouse thanks for the after 8 link, really good bargain! Did have to get my partner to order as without prime it was £4.99 delivery

Actually, the After Eight link was posted by @Justhereforthechristmasthreads .....so that's thank you from me and @Cuwins

Yeknom · 20/11/2022 19:41

I know someone else was wondering, and am sorry that I can't remember who, but the calendar club have buy one get one half price on everything. I'm going to place my order and hope things don't get reduced further.

And I still haven't managed to get the dairy milk 😡

Does anyone know anything about lululemon? DD has asked for a jacket which is about £100. It's it worth waiting until black Friday in hope of a deal? I'm worried it might go out of stock 🤔

Puffalicious · 20/11/2022 19:59

Been real life shopping at TK Maxx today. Had SUCH good stuff. I got:

Sports socks
Walking socks - very bargainous
(More) bamboo socks
Colombia

boxers DS1 loves (been searching forever and either can't find them or super expensive- 2 pairs for £12.99- total bargain).
Tisserard essential oils (Christmas set and Sleep set)
Cowshed candle
Gorgeous Christmas cards
Emma Bridgewater mug
Trainers (£165 for £32 in clearance!)
Books
A frying pan ☺️🙈

They also had fabulous sets inc skincare/ haircare, beautiful pyjamas and lots of Spode and loads of great board games.

Well worth a trip if you're near one.

OK so this is not meant to be a gender role affirming question at all but I have a few teenage boys to buy for and want to choose gift cards. In the past I have done Amazon and Odeon and wondered about Costa this time. But then I worried if that’s more a girl thing to do, hang out in coffee shops? Advice welcome!

PumpkinSpicedTea · 20/11/2022 08:48

I was a bit late to get anything from the outlet of Hot Diamonds but chuffed to bits and can't believe I've got a lovely pair of earrings for my mum for only £9 delivered. Thank you!

So there’s MSE40 and Jewels. Did you get any other codes?

Sleepdeprivedzombie · 20/11/2022 20:22

I remember last year , or maybe it was the year before, we all bought Holland and Barret skincare boxes.

There are a few on at buy one get one half price atm. Good gifts as they are or splitting contents between gifts.

Advent calendar also reduced to £35.

Yeknom · 20/11/2022 20:23

@FluffyCat17 another option could be a 'just eat' gift card for takeaways if they're older teens?

@User13673333 yes I used the birthday code as well, although did feel a bit guilty pretending my birthday was today 😬😂🎅

whoknows1230 · 20/11/2022 20:32

Does anyone know the difference between the main JD Sports website and global.jdsports.com? There's something I want that's out of stock on the main website but in stock on the global website and it's much cheaper than anywhere else, but not sure if it's too good to be true!

Maiyakat · 20/11/2022 20:35

Any recommendations on where to get a charm bracelet for a 10 year old? Want it to last but not be so expensive that it'll be a disaster if it gets lost!

sorryiasked · 20/11/2022 20:37

@FluffyCat17 I think amazon is safer. DS sometimes goes for coffee but it "local" is Nero not Costa

sorryiasked · 20/11/2022 20:40

Would anyone be able to PM me a blue light code for HJ Socks? DF wants particular socks and they're eye-wateringly expensive!
Many thanks in advance
