@Lovemusic33 my barbie fan loves her Barbie Dreamtopia Mermaid - currently £8 on argos which is a good price!

MadeForThis · 16/11/2022 21:11

I received a wine and cheese dispatch email. Pretty sure it was on preorder when I placed the order. Might be mistaken though.

Shufflebumnessie · 16/11/2022 21:15

Or this one lights up & plays music

Brilliant stocking fillers...

Had a separate thread about this, but said I would share on here (never done clicky links successfully before, so please humour me if this goes wrong)

I have looked high and low for these particular wind up toys (all quite different/multifunction/intricate) and they're really hard to find, or daft prices on Amazon, however, have found a seller on eBay with a good selection, and well priced (usually about a tenner each). Have ordered and received my 5, and chuffed with all of them. I put one each year in DC's stockings and at the end of Christmas, they go cumulatively in the Christmas Eve box, so next Christmas Eve, we get out all the ones from years gone by, it's a really nice tradition for us.

Here goes....

Elephant with Ball
Blue Dancing Chap
Green Caterpillar
Pecking Duck
Pink Butterfly
Pink Dancing Girl
Erratic Purple Snail (This is one of the ones that I bought and it goes like the clappers Grin )
Purple Dancing Girl that does the Splits
Green Dancing Chap that does the Splits
UFO that can't fall off a table

And if I haven't made a mistake there, I'll be astonished!! Grin

Comefromaway · 16/11/2022 21:21

I’ve got a lad of music tech stuff to buy but am wondering whether to hold out until black Friday.

Someaddedsugar · 16/11/2022 21:21

Liberty have started their Black Friday offers today

Givealittlebit · 16/11/2022 21:23

Just checking in so I don't loose you this time around! Also keenly keeping an eye on the chocolate 👀

Holidayqueen1 · 16/11/2022 21:28

@worriedmum42, I’ve literally just received a dispatch email from Candy Kittens so hopefully we’ll get them soon 🤞🏻.
does anybody know if The North Face usually have Black Friday offers please? Thanks

Ehunt1 · 16/11/2022 21:32

@puffalicious I think this was the link I posted about the country living fair, but I’m not sure if the code STYLIST22 still works though. But I have 4 spare tickets for Sunday if you want them.

Lovemusic33 · 16/11/2022 21:34

Thank you for the Barbie ideas, bought one and also found some kinetic sand bargains for 2 other children I had to buy for. I think I am almost done.

BalanceNotSymmetry · 16/11/2022 21:52

Haven’t seen this mentioned yet but it’s moving quick so I could have missed it:

1 litre of Bailey’s was £10 in Sainsbury’s today 😁🎄

deeplybaffled · 16/11/2022 22:02

My garmin watch has just died😢
so far, Garmin themselves are offering a £10 discount for Black Friday - does anyone know if they might do better, or any bargainous places to look elsewhere, please?

MerculesHorse · 16/11/2022 22:02

40% off lovely baby gifts at pebble child with code ty40. Really nice bits and some Christmas themed rattles and dolls. Also all ethical and whatnot.

Garmin used to give you 30% off if trading in your old broken one but you had to call up. I think they offer to repair it first.

Wallaroo21 · 16/11/2022 22:04

If anybody has a Boden voucher they won’t use I’d be eternally grateful. DH seems to have thrown mine out and I was after a cute little romper for dd

torthecatlady · 16/11/2022 22:04

Every year I recommend Vitamasques sheet face masks. I've been using them for years and they're good. They also make good stocking fillers for teens. You can subscribe for 20% off your first order and there's free postage when you spend £10.

[Amazon have yellow Gelli Baff for £2.00] can't link it as I have the app but photo below.

I'm after Playmobil. Does anyone know the best place to buy and if there are ever black Friday deals on it? Thanks!

VeruccaSalty · 16/11/2022 22:19

Try Luna Skye for Playmobil. We also got a lot of ours on Gumtree.

IamChipmunk · 16/11/2022 22:21

The Entertainer have some good pre-black Friday offers on.

Im still keeping Smyths basket in case they have any decent offers!

WaitWhatOh · 16/11/2022 22:24

anyone any idea where best to get 'super soft socks' suitable for an old/older lady with diabetes? My knowledge of fluffy socks is related to buying them for a teen daughter and I am not sure they have the same taste ;)

ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner · 16/11/2022 22:26

Thanks for the Argos/Crayola tip on the last thread, I've just ordered 4 things for £20!

Primark do an amazing variety of socks. Might be worth checking there.

rosieredhead · 16/11/2022 22:33

Does anyone happen to know if football team websites do Black Friday? I have a list of spurs training gear and the price is making my eyes water!!

Livingonjuice · 16/11/2022 22:40

I really need to find a good deal on Christian Dior sauvage after shave - it's so pricey. Anyone got a way to to this maybe even via TC or somewhere? Why is it so pricey?!
