Just a reminder if you've bought something from John Lewis in the last 35 days and it's dropped in price since BF deals launched you can claim the difference back. I did that yesterday and got £25 refunded the same day for a scooter I bought last week

Elpheba · 19/11/2022 08:36

Thanks for the we r Christmas link- this feels like a great deal- pre lit wreath, garland and two potted trees for £80. We don’t have any outdoor decorations at all so nice to get them in a bundle and on one power lead!

Thank you for the brilliant hot diamonds discount deal - I got my daughter a pair of earrings for £6 instead of £35. My chocolate arrived yesterday and looks fine - what a bargain! And thank you to the poster who mentioned the cinnamon rolls as I got that kit for the child who isn’t getting the chocolate! I’d like to finish my shopping soon but feeling a bit overwhelmed with Black Friday along with my lack of time!

How do you do this? Did you just contact them and ask for it because you saw it had gone down, or is there a specific form you fill in? Thanks!

sorryiasked · 19/11/2022 08:44

@Puffalicious I reckon a chocolate bra would be easier to buy!

Nottodaysausage · 19/11/2022 09:14

That ugg discount is amazing! Thank you!

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on joules returns...I got the Sara dressing gown in 2 sizes to try so need to send one back. However I think I'll only be able to get a gift card from what I've read which isn't ideal. Risk sending it back or wondering if I gift it as an Xmas pressie to my step mum & keep what I got her this year for next year?? It's a really lovely dressing gown. Has anyone seen any other info about refunds? I got it via their eBay outlet.

chocolateisavegetable · 19/11/2022 09:29

@mac1974 hope this helps www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2022/11/joules-administration-refund-shopping-rights/

mac1974 · 19/11/2022 09:32

@chocolateisavegetable thanks. I ordered on 7 November so I think I'll gift it this Xmas. A credit note isn't really much use to me I don't think.

shash1982 · 19/11/2022 09:39

@wonderingwhatsnext Will do.

villamariavintrapp · 19/11/2022 10:00

Not a bargain by any means, but Costco has the Ember mug for £79.99 which seems to be a good price for it. It's a mug to keep your coffee warm. Reviews are really good.

Does anyone have a code for tower London that's worth more than 15%? X

TherebytheGraceofGodgoI · 19/11/2022 10:16

Sorry @slithytoveisascientist only just found your reply. Happy to post it to you and can certainly spare the cost of a stamp if you send me your address.

Has Hot Diamonds stopped their sale now?

BluOcty · 19/11/2022 10:24

Has anyone bought the NON cashmere Turtle Doves gloves? Wondering if they are cashmere mix or scratchy wool?

HalfasleepChrisintheMorning · 19/11/2022 08:01

@HalfasleepChrisintheMorning could you recommend a less expensive electronic toothbrush for 12/13 year old please?

NextPrimeMinister · 19/11/2022 10:34

neonleopard · 19/11/2022 08:08

Yes! I was hoping the basic (non paperwhite) one would be more like £50 like last year. That one apparently only came out this year whereas the one before that came out in 2019, so maybe too new to discount. I bought a refurbished one on eBay last night instead for £50ish as reckon secondhand ones might shoot up now!

Maybe there will be other discounts on actual BF (25th)?

It does seem to have started earlier this year!

Flubadubba · 19/11/2022 10:43

@RedPostBag IIRC, the best Kindle deals were kn Black Friday itself last year, so it could be better to wait until next Friday.

6poundshower · 19/11/2022 10:46

Debenhams sale has started, there is a decent looking wishes blanket for £30

Anyone had their Candy Kittens yet?
Looks like mine hasn't even been despatched!

The listing states they are wool. <instantly starts scratching>

Yalz · 19/11/2022 11:01

@40goingon30, I have heard nothing from Candy Kittens since 11 November, when they acknowledged my order and said it being picked and packed at their warehouse.

I followed a tracking link in that email, which said I’d receive an email when it was despatched, but nothing yet.

Justonedayatatime11 · 19/11/2022 11:04

@40goingon30 I haven't received mine either. I emailed them 2 days ago asking what was happening and haven't received a response to that either
