Oddballs have 20-50% off everything at the mo. Lots of bright printed boxer shorts and other undies. Dodie Weir ones oos mind you, which is the reason I went on the site on the first place.

@Puffalicious DAD20 takes 20% off at paddy & scotts if that helps

I've done it a couple of times. It's all above board and the website and emails you get very clear on what/when to pay to avoid interest. I think it's called 'take 3'.

Thank you, reassuring its ok. Great to get 20% off.

I was going to buy Throw Throw Burrito for a family gift, kids ages 5, 10 and 12, but just noticed on the box it says for 7+ oops. Does anyone have any good family game suggestions for this age range?

Not very Christmassy but does anyone have suggestions for barginous curtains? My lounge curtain rail has finally given up with the nice but extremely heavy curtains the last owner left here. I was hoping to leave them until the new year but it looks like the wall plugs holding up the rail had other ideas!
Thanks all

Try sticking a cocktail stick in the wall plug alongside your screws and it gives them a bit more to bite in when you screw it in. Worked for me anyway

I think it would be fine for age 5

Chocolate back!

Fuckingfuckssake · 17/11/2022 21:55

Can anyone recommend something along the lines of a personalised sketchbook for DF? Not leather, budget of about £30, looked at Papier but they just notebooks I'd like better quality paper if that makes sense.

Cantthinkofabettername · 17/11/2022 21:55

And gone!

gawditswindy · 17/11/2022 21:55

@Twonka I don't. I didn't know that was a thing. 🤔

I ordered a few weeks back- also for the Dodie pants, but managed to get sports towels, socks and a hat, as I've done the rugby tops too often! Their quality is amazing- they wash and wash and wash. Didn't get 50%, but there was 30%. Maybe I'll nip back on... (these threads are bad!).

All I got was "failed to add to basket" closeeee but not close enough

FluffyFluffMonster · 17/11/2022 21:59

I managed to get 2 bars after trying since yesterday.

Does anyone have any suggestions for presents for 3 year old boys?
He’s mine, but his birthday is in the next few weeks so I feel like I’ve exhausted all my ideas on giving relatives suggestions for that and I’ve not got any ideas about what they can give him for Christmas.

There were some lovely tractor tops and Dino tops in the joules and Boden sales. I'm assuming he's in to tractors because I don't know one that isn't 😂 maybe tickets to a local farm place?

sprongle1 · 17/11/2022 22:03

Got the chocolate at 12:45am last night. Wondering if I should have got more than one.....

CoffeeAndEnnui · 17/11/2022 22:06

I kept trying in the wee hours when the Dairy Milk bar was popping on and off but no joy at all. Sad times. I couldn't find this thread for looking this year so I was thrilled to spot it at last yesterday, now I'm on a chocolate mission!!!

buckeejit · 17/11/2022 22:06

Amazed to see my joules order from drunk o'clock on Sunday night had been dispatched!

rosieredhead · 17/11/2022 22:07

Thank you for all the spurs Black Friday tips, apps downloaded and clubs joined! I’m officially ready! No sign of a dispatch email for my candy kittens order but good to see there coming through for some. Feeling quite virtuous at how far ahead I am… the smashed grape kit sitting in my fridge seems to be calling as a reward!

Nevertooearly · 17/11/2022 22:10

@Fuckingfuckssake what about getting a plain sketch book from eg Fred Aldous and personalizing with a stamp? There are various places that make beautifully lettered ones and might even be able to take an image from the recipient’s drawings.

MerculesHorse · 17/11/2022 22:13

ColeXander · 17/11/2022 18:13

Still £6.70 if anyone missed this amazing deal. It’s lovely and so big, my dd will love it

Gruffalo book advent was also that price in Tesco and the Disney, Peppa, and Marvel ones were heavily reduced.

Hello, I usually get annoyed when people fill up this thread with bumpf but I'm throwing myself on your mercy. My best pal finally had a life saving kidney transplant this year and im over the moon, I want to spoil her but she has some lifestyle changes due to the anti rejection meds and steroids. I would be eternally grateful for ideas, budget is big because I'm so relieved that she's OK. She likes cats, penguins, gaming and comfort. She loves cheese too. Tia 😊

Really lovely slippers or a fabulous cosy jumper? Celtic and co are meant to be great.

Failing that, I would go for a large Percy penguin from jellycat which are so snuggly and gorgeous. Or some novelty cat socks (there are plenty around). Or some quirky stickers from redbubble for her gaming laptop?

WeAreTheWeirdosMister · 17/11/2022 22:23

@Fuckingfuckssake

I really recommend Artful boxes, they come with a lovely sketchplus art supplies
