What slots

Silly question but as tescos are releasing Xmas slot tomorrow what slots is it that people are aiming for, is it Xmas eve? Surely that’s a bit risky if half the shop doesn’t turn up?

My kindle was faster than the app on my phone. Booted me out once on the phone.

This is not looking good I’m still 27297! Wonder if there will be anything left by the time I get through. I heard people having issues with the app before so I’m using the main website.

I’ve been quicker off the queue twice on the app. Was around 64,000 at one point now 204000. Luckily had logged on to website too after nightmare last year but still over an hour on that.

Also managed to get a slot for Friday 16th while I was on there.

@brokenstone yep same issues here. Luckily I had queued on the website as well so I did manage to save the slot and check out. But the apps were ridiculous. Note to self, book on the website next year!

All done, no issues with the app.

Blimey! For the first time ever I've been on the ball enough to get my first choice slot!

They should make a better system. My blood pressure goes through the roof imagining doing a real shop at christmas.

I’ve just got straight onto sainsburys and book 22nd. No queuing at all (and that’s without a delivery plan with them). Worth the £4 delivery charge not to have to queue

I got through ok, got the date 23rd I wanted but the glitch's were insane. Managed to check out eventually, and get some other dates for other things we are doing, then my oh woke up and and said we can't do the time I booked on the 23rd 😵‍💫 went back in, changed the time, all day still available and no glitches, 😩

Got 23rd and the 16th, but through the website not the app which keeps crashing! Good luck everyone!

All the supermarkets could honour each others colleague discounts for the festive season, id love a Waitrose Christmas shop.

Looked at Asda and Morrisons too now - no queue in either and lots of slots available

I got to "Your wait time is 3 minutes" then it booted me out of the queue. Ffs

When I checked at 10am there was still slots for the 22nd (all day) that’s why I asked what dates it was people are after because it doesn’t seem worth waking up at 5 am for the sake of one day?
