Silly question but as tescos are releasing Xmas slot tomorrow what slots is it that people are aiming for, is it Xmas eve? Surely that’s a bit risky if half the shop doesn’t turn up?

I usually go for (and get) a slot on the 23rd but since I've been kicked out of the queue twice and im over 170000 in the queue im not holding out much hope

Is it just Tesco that have the insane queuing issue?

I don't personally use Tesco, but I remember the threads from last year and it sound just as crazy this year.

I booked Ocado & Waitrose without queuing, and a Sainsbury's slot for the 24th for a relative (We also want a couple of Sainsbury's specific items and it's a back up for missing stuff), again without issue.

I wonder if Tesco should switch to regional releases of slots to save the chaos.

Has anyone had trouble with the app?

I got to the front of the queue at 6.10, booked the 23rd, went to check out and the app crashed, booted me out and deleted my slot! Now no available slots on the 23rd!
