Pumpkindoodles · 02/11/2022 23:11

John Lewis have a great version

resipsa · 02/11/2022 23:17

Next kids version age 14 - wearing mine now. Hood, pockets, toasty. I'm 5' 7'', size 10. £29.

Online home shop - I’ve bought them for the whole family off there! Good quality, thick lining and wash well for a good price!

This thread has some great tips. I have just received my Kudd-li and it seems perfect.

I'm going to order a hug n snug off Amazon.

Land0r · 03/11/2022 19:01

M&S have lovely ones. DD1 (16) has the adult sized Percy Pig one, DD2 (13) the navy stars one in an age 15/16 so it's big enough for her to pull her knees up into when sitting. Our house is old and cold, so they are wearing them a lot!

Rainraingoaway21 · 03/11/2022 19:03

Another vote for the Online Home Shop, bargain!

EachandEveryone · 07/11/2022 10:08

Not cheaper but how lovely is this one? It’s like Xmas in this house today😂

I have the Primark version for £20. A snuddie I thunk they call it and it’s lovely. I’ve no idea how it compares with the real deal though as I’ve not seen one in real. Primark do a £16 one in pink or grey but the one I have felt much thicker and was only £4 more.

Suboptimalsitch · 07/11/2022 10:12

That Moomin one is sublime Eachandeveryone

liveforsummer · 07/11/2022 10:13

I got all ours at online home shop for £11. They are amazing

EachandEveryone · 07/11/2022 10:28

Yes I live with an over grown man who is obbsessed with all things Scandi 😀

PuttingDownRoots · 07/11/2022 10:30

DDs have Dunelm ones coming for Christmas (Hogwarts houses)
Just got MIL and DN Primark ones (mIL has teddies, DN is a black animal print.)

Is that a real one? My parents have said they will get me one! Is it worth it?

I've got one from Primark, the plain grey one for £16. It's lovely. They did do a thicker version but I'm glad I didn't get it. I'm roasting after 20 minutes in this version so I think I'd find the thicker ones a bit too much.

AriettyHomily · 07/11/2022 13:41

Primark. Still not cold enough to wear mine yet. Dunelm have have got a load in in their 'teddy' range but being of a certain age I can't imagine being able to wear them without melting.

Thelifeofawife · 07/11/2022 13:51

I ordered my son an Oodie and he loves it. I’m considering one myself but will see what cheaper ones are recommended first - they are very expensive even with a discount

DialsMavis · 07/11/2022 13:54

I havent had a real one bit we are v happy with our Primark ones. Seem to wash better than the Amazon one DD had last year. I am sure the real ones are better and will last longer but I just couldn't stretch to 3 of those

PeskyYeti · 09/11/2022 22:29

The Christmas bargain thread number 10 is full of everyone ordering them from £5stuff. Someone has said it came and it's a genuine oodie, so we've all been sheep and ordered one to see if we're lucky too

BloodyMabel · 09/11/2022 22:44

Here’s the link, it’s the ones with animals that might be Oodies and the plain ones someone got a Kuddly but all the labels were cut out.

I’ve also got some from online home store and they’re nice too, not as thick as my Kuddly so depends how warm you like to be as some find them too thick.

woohoowoohoo · 09/11/2022 22:54

I got dd an oodie during lockdown and it's brilliant. She just suggested I get one for Christmas from my folks so I've been practicing wearing hers ! I thought I'd find it too heavy and bulky but it's very light and snuggly. Are the cheaper ones light? I'm pretty tempted as hers looks the same 2 years on

EachandEveryone · 10/11/2022 20:03

shop.moomin.com/products/moomintroll-cozee-kouli ive put it side by side to my oodie and its the same size and thickness
