Please help! I'm so stuck on her "big present"
She has an iPad and a bike. I've got lots of little things but stumped on this.

I too have an awkward non-toy playing 8 year old, but she really needs an update on her iPad so other things I’ve got her include wireless headphones, iPad keyboard, movie ‘kit’ (inc personalised popcorn bucket, cuddle cushion, teddy throw and a voucher for a couple of films from prime) some horse riding clothes and boots, horse adventure switch game, skincare stuff and a wash bag (requested so I’ve gone as pure as I can!?) and clothes voucher for under the tree. Stocking includes slime potion set thing, horse book, stationery, chocolate, bath stuff, usual shizzle

Getting my 8yo a 2 wheeled scooter.

What's your budget? Based on what you've said they have I'm assuming your quite comfortable financially. What about some horse riding gear then get her some lessons?

Have you looked at a 3d pen. I looked at one for my 8yo DD. Last few days my 10yo hasn’t shut up about buying herself one. It not on her list, that’s covered, but she’s thinking about buying one herself. She’s saved a lot of money to buy herself a phone but been given DHs old one so is now looking at something to spend the money on.

We got my 7yo a small synthesiser keyboard for bday and he loved it

Horse riding lessons, I got a 6 week course of 30 min lessons and a beach ride for my mum and DD a few years ago. Mum had horses as a child but hadn't ridden in 30 years and loved it, DD not particularly horsey but enjoyed it. Didn't spark a horse obsession thankfully but it was a long lasting gift and well worth the money.

Second this. Ours was a Greco through fields and countryside and they loved it.
