Nativity Set

I'm looking for a Nativity scene with figures that aren't glued down so you can move them around that includes the stable. It's for my dd6 so open minded whether it is traditional or more toy-like. Online searches are drawing a blank. Anyone seen any nice ones? Thanks!

@Ohnonevermind , someone I knew who also made the knitted set, wasn’t too pleased when her dh said her Joseph was the spit of Bin Laden!

Amazon? I just typed it 'nativity set' and the first page all the figures were movable, in different styles from classic to kiddie.

@TheTheShoeLady I love your set - so cute!

I'm trying to replicate the plastic set we had as kids, all the figures came from different sets so were slightly different sizes

Ostheimer. It's £££ but so beautiful and a real heirloom. You could add to it year on year.

I knitted a nativity set nearly thirty years ago when the DDs were small. It still gets dragged out of the attic every Christmas, but Joseph’s little knitted lantern on a pole suffered a mishap - the straw stiffening the knitted pole got bent, so his lantern dangles round his knees now. Not that he has knees, his robe covers them… Grin

Another vote for the Lanka Kade one, it's lovely

I nearly bought the Lakeland one a few years ago - for Gdcs - before making the knitted one. Gds was still only 2 1/2 and still at the chuck-and-bash stage - nothing breakable would have last 5 minutes.
Gdd was 3 3/4 and loved playing with it - I once found her ‘marrying’ one of the wise men to one of her Barbies!

They still love it some years later - especially the little touch to add authenticity to the stable - a little pile of donkey poo aka 3 of the knitted holly berries in the pattern book - done in brown and stitched together. 😂

We may well have a wooden one in our future, but for now I have ordered a hand made knitted one from Vinted. Thanks for your help everyone!
