Wtf, John Lewis? Wtf? Why would you do this, why?

Will anyone buy one?

(If you can't see the picture, imagine Santa's icy corpse rising from a bath of mortuary chemicals, and charge yourself £25)

John Lewis wtf

WTF

Longbarn5 · 06/09/2022 21:11

Yep, tend to agree, pretty hidious!

Petronus · 06/09/2022 21:11

I love your description. I think closer to Christmas we should have a thread dedicated to the worst Christmas decorations.

Suzi888 · 06/09/2022 21:11

That’s ….. awful. I’ve a friend who collects baubles like this!🤔😂ugly things! I may have to get it.

GuerlainHo · 06/09/2022 21:11

LOL

ImPickleRickSpartacus · 06/09/2022 21:11

Just ordered myself 50. I want a full tree of them.

OnlyEverAutumn · 06/09/2022 21:14

Oh it’s a thing of beauty 😂

bunintheoven88 · 06/09/2022 21:14

Just gone on JL website to buy this monstrosity for MIL and they are sold out it seems, darn.

ValerieDoonican · 06/09/2022 21:14

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bagzzz · 06/09/2022 21:14

Who would want him coming down and he chimney - will nobody think of the children! Grin

fizzyfood · 06/09/2022 21:18

Selling this reinforces my view that John Lewis has seriously gone down hill.

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 06/09/2022 21:18

Their full range looks interesting. Every year the kids choose a new bauble for the tree, I will avoid JL this year so I don’t end up with a snail, fry up or other monstrosity on the tree. I noticed one bauble is marked as both a beat seller and coming soon.

ReginaPerrin · 06/09/2022 21:22

John Lewis have been selling these sort of monstrosities for the last few years - last year they were selling baubles in the shape of onions, aubergines etc. Fine if you’re a festive farter I suppose.

ReginaPerrin · 06/09/2022 21:22

Apologies, festive farmer!

QueefofSheena · 06/09/2022 21:26

🤣festive farter is much better!

Surtsey · 06/09/2022 21:43

They have all lost the plot. Waitrose tried to charge me £4.99 for a bog standard sandwich the other week. I told them they were having a laugh and put it back.

Thatsnotmine · 06/09/2022 21:46

Think this thread is right up my street, I love a tacky Christmas bauble so will be watching with interest and credit card in hand😁

ScarlettDarling · 06/09/2022 21:49

£25 😳😳😳😳

CaramelTwirl · 06/09/2022 21:50

It's the spouts that make you a festive farter

blacksax · 06/09/2022 21:51

I've just had a look at the range. I mean, who doesn't want a gibbon dangling from your Christmas tree? Or a pink coffee machine?

GrasssInPocket · 06/09/2022 21:52

Anyone remember the year John Lewis was full of those hideous upside down Christmas trees? 😩

Skiphopbump · 06/09/2022 21:55

This one looks like a Pixar character from Cars.

John Lewis wtf
JML001 · 06/09/2022 21:56

Save yourself a fiver and buy this monstrosity instead...

John Lewis wtf
TheBeesKnee · 06/09/2022 21:58

Oooh have the Christmas lines been released then? I had no idea! ✨toddles off to scroll through the app✨

Howeverdoyouneedme · 06/09/2022 22:00

I like it! I have an aubergine bauble though, and a Santa riding on a dolphin.
