My washing is two whole piles full. It just builds up so much over Christmas and then it has rained every single day.

Dh has a drill etc but we're going to make a list of all the things he needs later. I've just done a renewed budget but it'll have to change come April when everything goes up again

My washing basket is empty now too and the bedding is in the dryer

I've got a horrible headache again. Thought I was passed that but apparently not

Morning!

I need to go to the allotment this morning as I have three fruit bushes to move while they're dormant over winter. It's not ideal digging conditions, as I've a feeling it'll be pretty boggy, but it'll get it done. I might dig over some ground while I'm there too, just to clear some weeds.

Then I'll be cleaning the kitchen when I get back. And we're back to ironing uniform. Whoop! 🙄

We watched No Time to Die last night as I had a free rental from Vodafone. It was better than I expected it to be!

Breakfast with friends this morning and then DS has a birthday party this afternoon. Will be a late drive home and then will have to rush around getting everything ready for DS to go back to school tomorrow. Can't wait for the peace however!

I just got up. Dd wants to go to a friends so I'm leaving the house for the first time in two weeks

Hopeful enjoy the peace, the house will probably feel huge (and silent).

Am crocheting some wrist warmers and a matching head band at the moment and these will be finished! I will not get bored halfway through, I won't!

I'm back and in the bath now. Next stop once I'm out is cleaning the kitchen!

We've been told they can wear tracksuits again tomorrow as, while most of the heating is working, some isn't, and it isn't running at 100%. Plus they'll need to keep turning it off to do the fix, I would think!

Thankfully my ironing pile isn't high, as they only wore uniform for a day last week. Normally it's 3 days in uniform and 2 days in PE kit.

I'm tired now I've stopped...will need motivation to move afterwards! 🤣

Is No Time To Die the latest Bond film Fluffy? If so I didn't like it (I'm about a bond fan anyway but I've enjoyed most of the Daniel Craig ones).

I don't iron I hate it almost as much as I hate putting the hoover around.
After the blitz on the house yesterday, the house is clean.

I'm pissed off though, because we had plans to have a roast today. DH went out at 8 with a plan to be home by 2 with dinner at 3 however, he called at 1:30 to say they've accidentally taken the wrong trail so will he late.
He got home 10 mins ago and is a bit put out that I ate my dinner while it was nice and hot and fresh instead of waiting for him and reheating it
I'm ignoring him altogether and cross stitching and watching tv but if he moans even once now I'm going to put Christmas music on and follow him around playing it

I made pea risotto for dinner. Ds has had 3 helpings. I made mine with cauliflower rice and dd doesn't like rice so is having noodles

My lft was quite faint today so hoping it's negative tomorrow.

Bond isn't really my thing Fluffy - I can't get passed the random sex in it tbh but I thought the DC ones have been watchable at least.

DH didn't moan. He has a thing about eating on his own, he feels uncomfortable if we're both here but today it's his own fault.
He has redeemed himself kind of by presenting me with a Christmas present he'd hidden in his hiking bag and forgotten about. It's a Christmas highball glass with a pattern of fairy lights around it which I have washed and am now using

I didn't do anything. So boring. But dh was working, dd went to a friends and ds had homework. I might attempt the gym tomorrow morning, no idea how it'll go!

I need to get up soon to start work...I'm not happy about it in the slightest, but there's too much to do not to. I've a meeting with my new manager today, and I already know that she's planning to reduce my file count, which I'm happy about! Hopefully it'll be soon.

The weather is meant to be warmer this week. Hurrah! I've changed the heating times in anticipation. 😁

Bloody EDF have refunded my credit balance (whilst simultaneously telling me my DD was going up, which I pushed back on...idiots). I'll put it in savings and top up any deficit from the next bill.

Morning. Went to the gym, wasn't too bad. Still positive so need to call work and see if they'll allow me back...

Dd is so sad to go back to school I feel awful for her it's horrible

DH went into town this morning for a new bath plug. He bought me a present...some sponge "dishwashers" because I've been begging asking for a dish washer. 🤦‍♀️

fluffy utility companies are rubbish in general. I had massive issues with British Gas when I was selling my parents house. They wanted to speak to the bill payer..."You need to phone the Crematorium then!" Arses.

We've had DS's birthday this weekend with DD 1&2 coming for a takeaway and an evening of gaming with their brother.

I had a delivery of a new Christmas tree storage bag today. The one I'm using currently isn't long enough and the pole sticks out so I'll be swapping them over tomorrow.

Wreck good that your DD had a better day than she anticipated.

Fluffy we are hopefully getting some sunshine later this week. I'm tempted to see if I can get some laundry at least partially line dried.

Fluffy can I ask what cross trainer you have please? DH is looking at getting one and has no idea where to start.

I've checked the weather and it seems we're due some sunshine (but not warmth) this week too so I'll be setting up airers in the conservatory to try and get on top of my washing.

I've just got out of bed following a massive migraine today. I had to finish work early because the screen was blurring in front of my eyes and then I was sick. Did all my usual tricks (pressure points, drinking something sugary, cold mask on face and back of neck, meds) but there was no shifting this one.

Crazy I find a good vomit followed by a nap helps ride me of a migraine highly recommend

Wreck I logged out of work at 12 ish, slept 3-6 then led in the dark for a while longer before getting back up.
It has been lifting quickly since I got back up so I'm probably 90% back to normal now. Means work tomorrow is going to be busy though.

Thanks for the link Fluffy. We're considering taking apart the spare bed for a few months and putting a cross trainer in there (DH is training for something specific and probably won't need it so much after the summer) so space isn't a problem for now but it won't be able to stay there forever so a smaller one would be better.

Fluffy working through lists in my head is my means of switching off. Great in the run up to Christmas as there were lots of lists of presents and food - not so much going on now. I'm hoping that being able to recall stuff from memory is a kind of brain training and will stand me in good stead in my advanced years.
