What’s your 10 year old girl getting?

Just that really!

It’s a tricky age, not gown up at all, but also my Dd Is last toy toys.

My DD is 10 and in Y6. She is getting:
Wide leg jeans
Chunky soled trainers
A desk and chair
A fake Oodie
A bag of cheesy Doritos (it was on her list!)
Instax Liplay camera, that prints mini polaroid type photos, either from the camera or phone.
Lava lamp
Mario Party Superstars game.

My 10yo DD is getting

An Oodie (got her fake one last year and she lives in it so got her a real one - luckily on a great offer that had with what must have been end of line designs)
Squishmallow
Boba plushies
Couple Of books
Figit toys
Tv (from her dad as well)
Fleecy hoody
Crystals

Also made up a boba kit with syrups and bubbles and straws as a joint present with her sister.

My 10 year old, year 5, asked for a Barbie house, she also has a fake fur coat and a flying bird thing, calendar, stationery and I can’t remember what else as DH wrapped it all .

The lists on here really grown up in comparison with my DD.

Lego, baking stuff, tie dye kit, football tracksuit team logo’ed with her name on (team she plays for, not one she supports).

Interesting reading these posts, 10 year old girls have very diverse interests (both within the group and individually)!

My DD had her 10th birthday a few weeks ago, I always find it tricky at Christmas. This year has been particularly difficult as she is less into toys, but she is getting: Pokémon cards, Pokémon pyjamas, tabletop pinball, books, Lego, video game, STEM book/kit, fossil, robot construction kit (including from wider family).
Small stocking presents were hard to buy this year as previously I would have bought bath stuff or 'cute' stationery, she has gone off the former and already has more than enough of the latter. So I got Guinness Book of Records, small construction toy, small cuddly toy and 'spy glasses' which enable you to see behind you.

10 is a really interesting age. My 10 year old will be 11 in a couple of months. She’s getting:

• Harry Potter throw and pjs
• two books - the Cherub series
• a calendar
• a brownie kit which comes with a little cast iron frying pan
• some Roxy branded slides
• fairy lights curtain
• hoodie
• cook book

In her stocking she has:

• shower blue tooth speaker
• some posh chocolate hazelnut butter
• some bright pink hairspray
• make your own door hanger kit
• favourite posh chocolate

So no toys, but nothing I’d consider overly grown up.

On the subject of toys my 12 year old is getting a reborn doll but lied about it when asked yesterday in front of her big cousins 😆

My daughter asked for a barbie house for her birthday in y5 (9) and hers 10th birthday I didn't get it because we had one and sold it in y4 cos she never played with it!
